    I mean - no harm in moving guys around, but it seems doubtful it will matter much. We knew this team needed things to break right for it to be a successful season. Not much evidence that's going to happen (yet?). New hitting coach, same sh*tty results unfortunately. We really needed to add another bat or 2 in the offseason. Pederson, Robert Jr, Kepler - guys who can hit 😉

    Perhaps not. Hays was a perfect fit if you had concerns whether Schneider could be the LHP masher. Maybe not Robertson, but 1 more bullpen arm would have helped. Of course it's easy to say with hindsight.

    We need Steve Pearce on the team like yesterday. I'd love to see AA get aggressive and got get us a legit RH bat - even if he's a platoon guy. We really need a RH bat that murders LHP. Straw has been great, but we can't expect that type of offensive production moving forward.

    They need a little luck in the draft lottery and to absolutely nail the pick this year. If they do, they'll be good next year. Poeltl Ingram Barnes Barrett IQ 2025 #1 draft pick Dick Walters Shead Mogbo If that #1 pick becomes a franchise type player - we're cooking. That said, I really hope we dumb Barrett this offseason. Bring me a 3 & D shooting guard.

    Little becoming a dominant option out of the pen is exactly the type of thing that pushes good teams into great teams. Someone already said it, but it does remind me of when Cecil just started to shove - right when the Jays needed him to - playing a huge role in the 2015-16 seasons. Hopefully Little can do the same here in Toronto.

    This is what AI tells me when I asked that question... While StubHub was formerly an official ticket resale partner for MLB, that agreement has ended. SeatGeek is now the official ticket marketplace for MLB. This means fans can manage their MLB tickets, forward them, or resell them directly on the SeatGeek platform.

    To be fair - all those players project to be league average bats. I'm not so sure that's going to happen, but I don't think a league average bat should be lumped in with a "glove first" guy. There's probably some subjectivity to that. If we continue to start all 4, I am pretty confident that 2 of them are league average or better, while 2 may be 90 wRC+ "glove first" starters.

    I think I heard Strider struck out 13 in 5 1/3 in his last rehab start. Going to need to square up a few today and continue to get good pitching/defense.
