I feel like we've been through this. I too would love to watch Thornton, Paulino, Pannone, Alford, Biggio, Tellez, etc. However, the reality is that there are going to be injuries. If you dump or cut all the vets and roll with the youth, when injuries strike, you won't be watching semi exciting young players - you'll be watching fringe prospects or minor league vets get completely over matched in the majors. That isn't fun or good for anyone's development.
Did you enjoy watching Scott Kingery play last year? The guy TORE up the upper minors in 2017 (26 Hrs, 100+ runs, 29 sbs) and it was PAINFUL to watch him struggle last year.
