  1. I can't imagine paying money to go watch this one...yikes.
  2. 100 Level - right behind the Jays bullpen. It might just have been my perception (and the generally pissed off mood I'm in), but the seats felt really tight. I felt like the c*nt who ate 12 hot dogs, 2 smash burgers, 15 beers and smelt like an ashtray was sitting in my lap. The drunk wh*re behind me must have dropped 25 F bombs right into my sons ear before apologizing every single time. Some random young kids joined her and her BF/Husband/Friend? late in the game and she's openly talking about wanting to f*ck the 22 year old (she's mid 40's). And no cup holder there either. It was a truly awful experience. My son asked to leave in the 6th inning.
  3. So of course we sat amongst several loud, obnoxious, drunk fans who knew next to nothing about baseball. It was so bad my 9 year old leaned in and told me "these people don't know much about baseball Dad". Just an awful experience at the dome last night. I'm no longer going to buy playoff tickets. I'd rather watch from my couch.
  4. We've scored 1 or fewer runs in 5 of the last 6 games. It's been a magical season, but we seem to be running on fumes. Crazier things have happened, but the likelihood of this slipping away has jumped significantly. I'm happy we're in this position in the first place, but doubtful it will end well. Bring on 6 months of people complaining about the FO and management. Perhaps listening to 4 seconds of music between every single f*cking pitch last night drove me off the deep end.
  5. Sorry brother. It's so hard when I'm here with my 9 year old and he's devastated. Long 2.5 hr ride home from that game.
  6. Yanks win. Jays are f*cked. 0-2 in the wild card incoming.
  7. What a waste of time and money to come watch these losers.
  8. It's so f*cking tense in here. Need an out Gausman!
  9. Giolito's change up looks nasty tonight
  10. Man, people are NOT happy at the dome after those 2 calls. When did they start pumping music between each pitch? Its awful.
  11. I'm taking my youngest (who's the world's #1 Jays fan) to the game tonight. Hoping it doesn't rain so they can open the dome and hoping Gausman shoves again! I'd also selfishly like to see my guy, George Springer go deep.
  12. I think we got the 12:30 game once, which sucked balls.
  13. It is really incredible. It's so cool.
  14. I haven't seen anything on this yet either. I suspect they won't go on sale until it's confirmed whether we win the division or slip into a WC spot. I hope those dates/times are plastered all over this board once determined!
  15. I actually really like that. There's no need to consider what call was made on the field (other than to stroke an umpires ego).
  16. Let's hope they're peaking too early!
  17. So his location was downright awful and it wasn't just the umpire squeezing him. Got it.
  18. Ever consider it might not be that easy and that the people running Rogers aren't f*cking morons? There is no way you should be firm at all that this was just a massive screw up by the Jays.
  19. Man - you're not a "loser fan", you're an awesome Jays fan. A diehard. I've always been able to grab tickets from Ticketmaster myself, so I don't think I've ever had to pay more than face value (not that face value is overly affordable). I do always wonder what I would do if the Jays made the World Series. Would I be willing to pay crazy scalper prices - say $2K a ticket to watch them in the world series. I think the answer is I would. I had a cancer scare back in 2019 (I'm perfectly fine now), but since then, I do generally live by the YOLO mentality. If there's a Game 7 at the dome this year - I think almost everyone "regular" on this board should be in the building (if feasible). Very few love the Jays as much as we do.
  20. I've also been to several playoff games since 2015. I think I went to 2 games in 2015, 2 games in 2016 (including the EE walkoff v. Baltimore) and I went to 1 game in 2022 and 2023, including the collapse v. Seattle. Personally - I feel that if you can, you need to make the effort to go watch Blue Jay playoffs games as much as you can. I think that especially goes for anyone who spends any amount of time on this forum. As diehards, you need to go experience it. Although you may be left with heartbreak (Seattle), you may also witness something absolutely incredible that may stick with you for the rest of your life (Joey Bats or EE walkoffs). I'm preparing to grab tickets to a couple of games. Probably 1 game with my whole family and another with just my boys. It's going to cost me a fortune, but I have to do it. As a Jays fan, I went 22 years between playoff appearances. You just never know when you'll get that opportunity again in life. You should go man.
  21. Easy - you're going to summon connorp back...
  22. while Seattle simultaneously loses a lot and misses the playoffs....yes.
  23. This post speaks to me Laika. I think it's something most of us can relate to...
