  1. The start to Zac Veen's professional career has been interesting. No power (.101 ISO, 0 HRs) Tons of walks (17.1 BB%) Tons of strikeouts (27.6 K%) and a f*** ton of speed....20 stolen bases in 34 games
  2. Tatis Acuna Guerrero Soto Ohtani Franco Bichette Kyle Tucker Moncada Bieber Buehler Albies Robert Bellinger Yordan Alvarez Gleyber Torres
  3. Not sure how you leave Soto out of that tier.
  4. Isn't Murphy working his way back from injury? He also had to change his windup (although he should have had all winter to perfect that). They may just want to get him a few more clean innings in the minors before they bring him up. He should be on his way soon. I know they are keeping Hatch and Kay stretched out in AAA - but you have to imagine they are discussing whether they need those 2 in the ML pen right now - and weighing the pro's and con's of something like that.
  5. People like this? I think that's too far. Kid is a **** and naïve to the fact that lots of players off his favourite team are also cheating in one way or another.
  6. Bonds had a 233 wRC+ at the age of 39. Let that sink in. Drugs are a beautiful thing. Adrian Beltre crushed ball late into his 30's also.
  7. Yeah I hope they keep the colour scheme also. I'm not going to get into an anti-vaxx debate.
  8. Torkelson is now crushing A ball. He should be in AA shortly.
  9. With Teo on the team (and full credit to him for improving and working hard) - I'm not sure anyone would ever think of saying that, but you're right. The only thing he does out there well is throw it.
  10. Ouch. Sox have a really solid team this year, but losing Eloy, Roberts and now Madrigal is really going to test their depth.
  11. But, but Buck keeps telling me that pitcher need to stop being so fine with their pitches. They need to trust their stuff and stop nibbling. Pete Walker tells the catchers to stop setting up on the edge and to come after batters. [all of which is clearly Buck's narrative to allow pitchers to go deeper into the game because he hates the way the game is played today, but isn't making enough money off memmo.com to retire]
  12. I mean he's clearly just pressing a bit right now. Probably thinking that a 3-0 cookie might help him get out of a mini-slump. When you're pressing and guys are throwing 96-97, then a low and away fastball probably looks center cut.
  13. How about a Rowdy bomb and we can forget about the save and the Romano/Mayza debate?
  14. This is tough. The guys has been so brutal lately that I lean towards taking him out - let him enjoy some success and build on it. Tough call seeing as we don't have many quality arms. Let's hope Romano has 2 in him?
  15. That's really stupid. The 'take' sign has to be on there...f*** Tim Anderson though!
  16. They....they aren't in bad shape man. You really have no idea what you're talking about and I'd recommend you stop.
  17. I agree - good observation. Little s*** like that definitely happens.
  18. Our bullpen f***ing sucks - I'm glad Charlie let him work his way out of that.
  19. because his mechanics were off and he couldn't throw it for a strike? Didn't Buck and Dan talk about this?
