    Hopefully he will get another bullpen appearance - but this time I hope he will be warmed up better so he doesn't hurt his arm again. I am interested in seeing what he can do as a pitcher

    So what happens with Goins at the end of the 15 day DL (July 17th?) - does he do a rehab stint, return directly to the Blue Jays or end up in Buffalo. Since the Blue Jays have called up Andy Burns, I assume he will come back to the Blue Jays.

    But even if Colabello can perform at his 2015 level without PED's (assuming that he really did take them) then he won't be eligible for the post season.

    It seems like the grass is always greener elsewhere, players aren't hated until they become Blue Jays and then don't post 150 wRC+ and excel on defense.

    I guess the only improvement would be to have Edwin at 1B and DH Devon Travis?

    Gibbons has said in the past that he will go with the hot hitters and lately Darwin Barney has been getting more hits that Devon Travis http://www.fangraphs.com/statsd.aspx?playerid=2430&position=2B http://www.fangraphs.com/statsd.aspx?playerid=13862&position=2B Devon Travis has shown that he is an excellent hitter though, so maybe a couple of games off will actually be good for him - he will be well rested in the next game. Surprisingly Devon Travis isn't playing tonight either.

    He seems to have been playing too much even for a regular. Barney's performance has been just as good, so it is difficult to argue against him being in the lineup.

    This team has talent, after losing 2 - 1 in 19 innings they have now won 5 straight. A win tomorrow and they will only be 2 games out of first.

    How can anyone not be a fan of Ezequiel Carrera. He has become a valuable Blue Jay.

    If the Blue Jays can pick up a dominant reliever who is about to become a free agent then it would help them, but at what cost? The Blue Jays were bad to mediocre for almost 20 years, I hope that Shapiro will be wise enough not to let it happen again.

    The Blue Jays are on a roll, Tulowitzki is like a new hitter, Martin has been consistent for over a month, Encarnacion is as productive as he usually is, Travis has been consistent, Saunders is hot, Barney has been good, Donaldson is on fire, Carrera is at wRC+ 120, Pillar has been below average production wise but is superb in the field. The starting pitching has been excellent and even the bullpen is much improved. Why fix something that is no longer broken; I hope the Blue Jays won't go looking to make any trades.
