    What an amazing pitching performance by the Blue Jays today (Indians have been ok also). Time for the Jays to win it.

    The Blue Jays are averaging over 38,000 per game this year - http://espn.go.com/mlb/attendance (actually 38,123 after drawing 41,365 tonight) and are 6 in attendance (probably tied for 5th now since they slightly outdrew NY Yankees tonight). On the other hand, the Cleveland Indians are last in attendance at 16,656 (worse than Tampa Bay). Last year they only averaged 17,806 and were 29th out of 30 teams - http://espn.go.com/mlb/attendance/_/year/2015 Why is the Cleveland attendance so bad?

    It was a disappointing loss, but the Blue Jays were shut down by a great pitching performance, hopefully the Blue Jays can win tomorrow.

    Gibbons has lost his mind. Grilli was pitching well but he just wasted Osuna. And what was the reason for the double substitution of Travis with Barney.

    Are you a casual fan? He has a serious toe injury that could cause this to be a mediocre year and will cast doubts on his future value. Maybe you should follow the game and politics more closely.

    If he doesn't produce at an average rate for the rest of the year then teams aren't going to offer $30 million a year.

    I wonder if Bautista will gamble on a short term contract with the Blue Jays with the hope of future free agency dollars. Maybe 2 years at 20 million a year.

    It should be a good game. Devon Travis looks like he will be a future All-Star and he is a good defender also; he is batting lead-off today.

    I think you might be thinking of me. Last year I preferred Goins over Travis, however I have changed my mind.

    WRC+ of 121. I am not really a Bautista fan but I know the Blue Jays have a tough time winning without him.

    Why not. Bautista didn't have his best years until after age 30. Although you might be right, he could return to All Star format.

    Lighten up and learn how to use the reply with quote button. If you going to say he did poorly in the leadoff spot then back it up. Why should anyone care what you give "two f@#ks" about?

    That isn't the way I remember it. Some people on this forum thought that he should stay there. Do you have stats indicating that he did poorly in the leadoff position. I am referring to last year when almost everyone was happy that Tulowitzki was on the team.
