What are you talking about, That ball fielding by Encarnacion was smoked. He was lucky to keep it in the infield. The other single off Loup was a strong flair not a looper. They also drew walks.

So you want to blame the offense when this pen consistently fails to hold 2-3 run leads.

Just because a ball goes for a single and not a grounder its not just luck. There are a lot of things in play, how hard the ball is hit, fielding positioning, swing type, batter speed etc.
