  1. ^Keeping JPA over Gomes was an atrocious judgement of internal talent. Just like not keeping Kevin Cash in the organization. When you have a baseball mind like Cash, you dont go around looking to recycle Gibby, you groom Cash and make him the manager. Not to mention keeping the worst of the Lansing 3
  2. Thats where everything went wrong in my opinion. Farrell screwed AA, AA got fearful, and went for the safe choice. I always felt that the 2006 bluejays were good enough. Compared to the team that the Jays field now, the 2006 Bluejays would be 15-20 games over .500. That team's top 3 starters were Roy Halladay, AJ Burnett and Ted Lilly. Lilly was an effective Left hander than and Burnett was amazing. Combined with a lights out BJ Ryan in the pen, Scott Downs, Justin Spiers, Jason Frasor All they needed was f***ing minor moves and competent management. I swear Gibby lost us 5-6 games this year by waiting forever to pull Towers and Chacin. It was the most frustrating year, Greg Zaun rode the bench with a .370 OBP and Fat turd Bengie Molina would start against RHP just like Navarro does now. It was the same tom foolery back then. This franchise doesn't learn from its failures. Constantly recycling Players. Constantly Recycling Mangers. We think they are in it this year, is it because the team is better, or the division is just crap. How long before one of the other team pulls it together while Navarro starts at DH and Colabello starts in LF.
  3. A smart GM would have played it to the league that now that Navarro is healthy, this team does not have a place for him, and tried to trade him for a small asset. Cola's flukiness is now coming to an end. Seen it many times, as recently as last year with Juan Francisco.
  4. Honestly watching this team really is like being the foolish husband whose wife cheats again and again, and he forgives her again and again thinking next year would be different. 12 years have passed like this. Jays are actually not better this year, the division just sucks for now at least. This is still just a .500 team, fortunately so is the division. The folly is us thinking that they are in something, when they are basically struggling to stay within 1 game of the division.
  5. I dont know why People assume such ridiculous instead of just accepting that this manager simply does not belong in major league baseball. Its hard to see him make the same mistakes year in year out, and then having people defend him by thinking that Smoak is injured or AA is making him play Navarro Dont you guys f***ing get it, He is not a good manager. He has bad judgement, poor strategic competence, and inadequate ability to oversee the play of a professional baseball team. This isn't new. This is Izturis getting a whole year despite being a huge negative WAR player. This is Santos going out there again and again despite blowing game after game. This is Greg Zaun sitting on the bench with a .370 OBP watching Bengie Molina start against RHP. This is Josh Towers making start after start after start going for 3 homeruns a game. But you guys just dont get it.
  6. There is. Gibbons is a terrible manager. Always has been, Always will be. Nothings changed
  7. Even going by simple stats. Navarro is a career .255 hitter.
  8. I just dont understand why the Fat f***'s bat is so highly regarded.
  9. Gibby Pays no attention to Cecil's career splits where LH hitters pound him Goins goes 9 for 19 against Clay, puts him in LF
  10. You gotta be f***ing kidding me Grady Sizemore is still playing baseball. He has to be 50 by now.
  11. How about a pinch runner, you know considering we have a good 1B on the bench and a possible replacement in Carrera.
  12. Seriously stop. Thats a good baseball team right there,
  13. Our 7 WAR Player is determined to hurt himself trying to make an out.
  14. By the way that feed is still working well and its perfect because I can turn off the volume and relax. Thank you for sharing. Friend.
  15. Why is Hendriks in, this is a close game. Use Redmond.
  16. Except Hanram can Hit. To compare him to Goins is a complete joke. I cant believe you are defending this move.
  17. In all fairness if we don't get to the greaseball it doesn't matter anyways
