This is still a .500 team. who cares who is on the team, this team isn't winning anything Donaldson is here for 3 more years, I dont think he will play a meaningful game, not with the way the rotation is looking right now. EE already looked like he has begun to lose his quick swings, and Bautista's prime is done. Sure Jays have Donaldson so what. We also had Halladay, Delgado, Bautista, and all that turned into nothing. Get over a single player, I rather win with 0 superstars then lose with the team we have now. AA hasn't done any good in his tenure, simply because he has been the GM of the bluejays for six years, and in those six years, Jays have never played a meaningful game. Six years is a very long time, Most GMs dont last that long if they fail to make the playoffs.

    With all due respect you are wrong. If the Jays were headed to 100 losses in 2013, then making a trade to become a .500 team is ridiculous. I rather lose a 100 games, then go 81-81, at least there is a better draft pick. you want to talk track record, every other AL East team has gone to the playoffs multiple times, since AA started his rebuild. So what the f*** was his strategy anyways, because it sure hasn't worked out.

    Good take him and watch your favorite team be medioacre for half of a decade. I don't know why you are bringing Wells up. Does the fact that the Angels made a similar mistake help AA's cause. Its been six f***ing years and this is the team he has built. I dont know how or why would anyone bother to defend the guy. Its time to start over.

    I still dont understand how an experienced GM like AA didn't take into consideration the lenght of Reyes contract, and the fact that he wouldn't be able to play SS for very long.
