    I was never saying that Donaldson will be traded for Sale. My point is that I would take an elite starter over a elite position player 100% of the time. Same with a good starter over a good position player. Indians are a team with a surplus of top of the rotation starters, but its looking like long term they could use offense. Too bad they already have an awesome 2B

    Going back to last year, This team was in a playoff spot on July 31st. Yet there was no move made. None. I never understood that. AA is so anxious to make a move this season, talking we are going to do this, we are going to do that, and yet when he had the opportunity last year to add, he made no moves This is why I am fully convinced that at the end of the day, this guy does not have a strategy. Gibbons on the radio the other day mentioned that how its July and for the first time we are in it. What you f***ing clown you forgot last year when you were leading the division in july by 2 and a half game. Do you guys understand? These clowns are so beyond what is required to succeed, I have a half a mind to think that it was Billy Beane that wanted Lawrie that Donaldson ended up here. Same with Travis, wouldn't surprise me if Detroit actually initiated that deal.

    Honestly I'd trade any position player for a good starter. I think Starters are way more important to a teams success. Travis is great, but if a deal came up for a young controllable starters with plus stuff, I would do it. Same with even Donaldson. I would trade Donaldson for a Chris Archer for example. Not that Archer is available or the Rays need a 3B. The point is Starting Pitching >>>>>> Everything else. Would I trade Travis or Donaldson for a Kluber or Sale, in a heartbeat. I wouldn't do it for an overpriced veteran though, or a rental. Its time to rebuild this club from the pitching out.

    I think the saddest part of this season is that AA Acquired 3 big time players in the offseason. Donaldson, Travis, and Martin, and all of a sudden it feels like everyone else in the core, except for Burly, all took one step back. That is the dissapointment. If they all had atleast maintained last seasons performance, we would be in a different place right now.

    I'm not wasting my prayers. The way the Jays have been assembled they don't deserve to win. Good management should lead to victory. The best thing that can happen to this franchise is a complete collapse leading to handshakes for Beeston AA and Gibby

    I think Bautista is the premier player here. Definitely a few contenders might be willing to pay his price

    Exactly. We talk about this elite offense how many times this year they have been completely shut down They just pile on the runs against weaker pitchers

    We need to get Navarro's bat in the lineup or he will be upset. It's important to give guys playing time so they can get a contract next year
