The team the Jays are playing right now has done it a lot this year...

Yeah I'm getting pretty sick of this management group seemingly not knowing when to stop with experimentation in the middle of a playoff race (or in playoff games). IKF f***ing sucks, there was no reason to bring him back, and put him on the hot corner no less.

Team just doesn't have the pitching to make it deep into the post season right now, starters or bullpen.
  4. thatoneguy
I distinctly remember Frank Francisco being absolutely f***ing awful.
  5. thatoneguy
They will sink this team in the playoffs if they continue pitching like this.

I swear the same user is posting on like five different accounts.

Yeah the bullpen deciding to collectively s*** the bed the last couple of weeks has not been ideal. Starters generally haven't been great either, probably lucky to get out of this stretch around .500. Hopefully Bieber continues to throw well.
  8. thatoneguy
Bieber's offspeed stuff was nasty as f*** today. Love to see it.

When Kirk is on, he is such a crucially important part of this team. His go-ahead single was on a frankly terrific breaking ball from Maton that was exactly where it was supposed to be located. Now 4-3 in this gauntlet of starting pitching since the Rockies series, would be fantastic to come out of this above .500 in this 9-game stretch.

I think peak Pedro has him beat in this respect, but deGrom is easily top 5.

45 runs in 3 games good lord almighty.
  12. thatoneguy
Throwing 100 and hitting a 440 foot home run to partial opposite field. What the f***...
  13. thatoneguy
36 runs in 3 games is nice, doing exactly what they should do in Colorado.

Cole Young hit that baseball to a place that I don't think I've ever seen at Safeco.
  15. thatoneguy
What are you even getting bent out of shape about?
  16. thatoneguy
    How about f*** no.

Nick Kurtz with a 4 HR game! 6-6 too and is the first rookie to ever have a four homer game. Also has tied the record for most total bases in a single game with 19 (Shawn Green in 2002).

    Best post so far lmao.

Or sticks with differing allowances of flex/torque.
  20. thatoneguy
Going back to this, I'm not sure if people saw but he looked like he was in frustrated relief with himself after he hit the home run, like a "f***ing finally" type reaction.

Huge series W, a sweep would be *chefs kiss*.
  22. thatoneguy
Over-managing pitching is by far the most annoying aspect of this era of Blue Jays baseball.
  23. thatoneguy
Springer has to be one of the very best clutch hitters in baseball over the past 10+ years when healthy.
  24. thatoneguy
    Holy f***!

Lol @ Trevor Bauer getting sent to the minors in Japan. That just makes me smile.
