    Skubal with one of the better games we've seen pitched recently. 13 Ks, just 96 pitches, no walks, CG shutout, 2 hits. Last pitch was of the game was 103 mph.

    Right, he doesn't belong in the Hall for reasons much greater/worse than betting on baseball. Not sure which other stars (beyond Wander Franco of course) have been credibly attributed to statutory r*pe and then acting so flippantly afterwards about it, but I wouldn't want them in the Hall either. Mickey Mantle was also an A-grade POS towards his family because of his alcoholism, but that still doesn't cross into having a multi-year relationship with an underaged girl.
