  1. Dumb and probably not that good either. Jays making the right move on no expensive extension.
  2. Fatty G is due for a HR. If he does that Jays win, if not Jays lose.
  3. I meant Atkins and Hudgens. Firing the current manager makes no sense really. Was already done mid way through the past season.
  4. Fire Atkins makes more sense here.
  5. Baltimore >>> Jays on a much lower payroll. Division basement is where we’ll be for years, hope it’s not true.
  6. Jays might be under .500 within a week. And of course Vlad Jr (supposed best hitter) no home runs through 20 home games.
  7. There’s the game, must be nice to have a non putrid offence.
  8. When was the last time the Jays had the lead in a game ?
  9. Nah, he’s just not that good or worth the money. The Jays front office are making the right call on the Vlad extension, or lack thereof.
  10. I would trade Groundbollo for Ohtani if the latter accepted the trade and was agreeable to an extension. Jays rid themselves of a GB machine and get a superstar in return, one that hits LH and pitches lights out.
  11. 1-8, were all the outs on ground balls ? This is what really concerns me here is the GB rate. 75 percent is too high for a 1st baseman. Extend Manoah and move on from Groundbollo would make sense. The Jays can try Horowitz or Berger at first next year.
  12. A 1st baseman who can hit balls out of the infield would have helped in this series. Generally, an 80p ground ball rate is a bad profile for any position, but impassable a 1st baseman.
  13. Astros get the Mariners. Yanks host Cleveland.
  14. No extension for Groundbollo until he can fix his chronic LA issue. Or just trade his ass for other pieces.
  15. Let’s face it, the Jays are just not that good. Especially with a 1st baseman who struggles to hit balls past the infield. It’s a very bad profile for a 1st baseman to hit 80p ground balls. Can we try S Horowitz or A Berger at 1st next year and trade Groundbollo for multiple pitching pieces ?
  16. Some quality LHBs would sure help. Can Berger or Horowitz provide something in that sense ? The team seems to have soured on Biggio
  17. Does Grounderro finish with an OPS under 800 ? Yes no ? Either way isn’t this about league average for 1st basemans
  18. His OPS is plummeting to below 800 which is mediocre for a power position. Combined with the LA and GIDP problems, I’d say the numbers are somewhat putrid. Definitely not extension worthy. How about trying S Horowitz at first ?
  19. At this rate Fatty Groundbollo and his LA problem will be striking out or hitting into more DPs at the Trop in about one week. It won’t be fun either with Glasgow having come off the IL.
  20. Groundbollo should be given a few days off. First to ensure that he finishes with an OPS > 800. Second to learn how to lift baseballs off the ground.
  21. Groundbollo hits too many GBs, it’s a very bad profile for a 1st baseman. Not worth any extension in my opinion.
  22. Long term deal for Fatty Groundbollo ? No thanks. Not until he can elevate the ball consistently.
  23. Guardians are similar but not quite as good and I’d still feel better playing them on the road than these butt f***ers in Florida.
