    Chapman has the higher OPS and at least one HR at home. He also has more defensive value. Come to think of it, could the Jays ever move Guerrero back to 3rd ? Could that ever work ? He has a strong arm which helps.

    Maybe they should option Vlad G and give Horowitz a look. A trip to the minors or a trade to another team would be good too. Vlad G to Houston for multiple pitching prospects would work. Their 1st baseman is even more dreadful.

    The coaches need to drill this into his head. Or maybe he’s just not meant to be that good. By the way still no HRs at the Rogers Centre. Hope that changes soon. The walk in the 9th of yesterdays game was nice.

    Can we just admit that Vlad Junior is crap and move on. Thank goodness no extension was signed. Or bat him lower in the order. Can we give Hiorowitz a chance at first ?

    No they shouldn’t. Would you like to be handcuffed by a 300 M fatty that can’t hit HRs at home or on the road for that matter. Rowdy Tellez has a higher OPS than Vlad. You do what’s best for the team based on results, not marketing gimmickry.

    I would IL Fatty G and bring up S Horowitz to see what he can provide at the MLB level. The former obviously needs a break.

    The Leafs are in an even greater shambles with no GM or plan to get one. Total incompetence. Ironically Atkins sort of resembles Dubas. Anyone have news on Ricky T or Addison Barger ? It would be nice to get some fresh faces on the MLB team.

    Fatty G good player but no where near elite. Problem is Jays don’t want to hurt his feelings by signing one over the other. Is a trade possible ?

    Any chance Fatty G gets moved down in the lineup ? Like I prefer Chapman at 3. Better track record and experience. Fatty G does nothing with the bat. Moving him down might take some pressure off and get the bat going.
