    No doubt. Going forward, I am more excited about Biggio and Bichette’s future going forward than Fatty Guerrero. The former have better alround tools and can also hit the ball out of the infield.

    Yes, who needs to work hard, take batting practice or watch video when eating nachos and tacos is so much funner. Another season like this one (and given his negative defensive value) and Fatty should be out of a job in the MLB.

    One reason might be that a first baseman should be hitting homeruns more than once per two months. And Maybe the FO hopes to extract some defensive value rather than spend on that position via FA.

    It’s probably because hitting MLB pitching requires focus and study. Vlad is probably too busy eating tacos and nachos to take things seriously.

    In his defence the team around him is terrible. But generally I would agree that the hype did not translate to anything tangible. Again he provides little value OPSing 750 with below average defence and base running. At this point, not worth a long term deal this off season. Bichette and Biggio on the other hand ...

    Very disappointing. I remember M Wilmer talking about him like a saviour and the greatest thing to ever be for the Jays. None of that has come to fruition. Quite the opposite actually. At least Bichette provides value on the defensive side and base running. Same with Biggio. Guerrero provides none of that.

    I’m more worried about our generational talent that can’t hit or field his position adequately. Hitting home runs once per 3 weeks just won’t do .

    The entire team suxxx, what if none of the position players take steps forward? It won’t only be pitching that is lacking.

    Vlad OPS soon to dip under 0.700 within next day or so. He definitely needs to be replaced with Drury or Bichette especially considering he provides no defensive value either.

    Vlad quite simply can’t hit MLB level pitching, especially breaking balls or curves. Definitely deserves a trip back to Buffalo to work on things and clear his head.

    and seriously Gibbons will be back in 2017 ? that Shapiro has gained respect for this bloke is very disturbing. btw, Jays have never lost an ALCS in 4 games.

    In response to Liriano over Stroman being a no-brainer, Gibby does not have a fully functioning brain. As such, he'll go with hard contact and Stroman.

    and Butthole has a history of dominating the 1 dimensional, right heavy jays. should be another one where the 1 d offense gets shutdown and cant score runs.
