I think he’ll make the lists as soon as scouts see him effective in high-A. The stuff seems better than advertised. Alek could be dominant in the AFL and make the pre-season list as well. He’s already top 100 material imo

Summer Grichuk is real

Buck and Pat said SRF dialed it down in favor of command, I’m not sure it helped that much. He still touched 96 but was mostly sitting 90-93, it looked hittable. Command was spotty and sometimes missed by 6++ inches. Slider flashed good break but difficult to get hitters to bite when FB is this inconsistent. DFA is a bit harsh, I still think he could be a decent BP arm and 12%+ SwStr and two potential above average pitches isn’t half bad. My only concern is SRF doesn’t seem to pitch very well out of the stretch with runners on base, from what I’ve seen in Buffalo. But he’s never been groomed to work in the BP like they did with Romano, so things could improve.

I’m hearing a couple names, it’s hard to pinpoint now, 10 months away from the draft. Johnston has improved his control in 2019, which is encouraging for his rotation chances. More likely a BP arm though. Mid-90s FB with a plus cutter/slider and work-in-progress changeup

Mike is amazing

Anthony Kay was a top 100 prospect literally two weeks ago in the previous update. Currently on the cusp after being bumped off by the draft guys (and poor start to AAA). Simeon Woods-Richardson has potential, could be a future top 100 guy. Could see a Deivi Garcia type of helium by next year. Both his FB and curve looks legit and has velo uptick, also very young for level like Garcia. His size is better than Deivi.
