    Gibbons being Gibbons with bullpen management, Encarnacion replacement level (0.0 WAR), Martin WELL below replacement level (-0.9 WAR), Tulo's 85wRC+, Bautista's natural decline and Drew Storen being a complete trainwreck is why this team is where it is. The problem with this team is the established leadership and performance of the veteran core.

    The Jays will end up being 20 games back before the end of the year.

    If it was possible that Phil Kessel and Casey Janssen could have a kid, it would look like Drew Storen. Storens decline is eery to that of Francisco Cordero and Kevin Gregg when they were playing for the Jays as well.

    I think it would be a win to just unload his contract. Really, just throw in a player to be named later and call it done.

    Russell Martin sporting -0.8 WAR and his best asset defensively of throwing out runners is regressing. It is so gross. Martin contributing a 30 wRC+ for today's game was a bonus for this team today.

    I think the last two months of 2015 put into his head that he was an all-star stud 2nd baseman and not a guy whose job offensively was to move runners over and just try to have solid at bats. When I saw him taking home run cuts in the 1st week of the season I was like OMG that little stretch of success last year was the worst thing for him.

    Ryan Goins is the 3rd worst hitter in baseball only to be outdone by Russell Martin and Erick Aybar.

    Probably not but it is a way for Shartkins to prepare the fanbase early (mostly the casuals) that there will be sweeping changes across the organization.

    Hearing this morning if they fall flat on their faces in Minny there are possibilities of coaching changes. Also hearing they would rather bring in their own guy to handle the interim job rather than handing it off to one of AA's old guard. I'm assuming they will promote Eric Wedge and after the 2016 season he will go back to being an advisor to the team.
