  1. I am right here, moo moo.
  2. Jays need to stop whining and start hitting. Edwin, Martin, and Tulo are pretty much half a WAR amongst the three of them.
  3. It's not unreasonable to worry about Osuna's workload, but that's a totally different problem than Gibby stubbornly using a gassed Osuna, which some people wrongly think is the case. This is just angry fans looking to be angry at someone.
  4. He is pretty much batting practice in his last three starts (BOS, BOS, BAL). Missing with his breaking pitches and with not enough movement on his fastball to avoid solid contact. He got two Ks last night on caught looking oopsies (Alvarez and Davis, I think). Several outs were stung right into Pillar's glove too. The damage would have been much, much worse had Machado not blundered with the two-out tag-up in the first inning. And, of course, another two-strike home run because hitters simply will generally not bite on his breaking stuff. In fairness, he got a bit unlucky in that two-run inning with unplayable ground balls and induced lots of weak contact in the clean 4th (his first clean inning since Minnesota? Someone confirm. If there were any in between last night and @MIN it can't be many).
  5. Okay. And what was in the approach that was so different from what resulted in a Martin double play?
  6. Machado grounded out to short with a RISP. I'm sure that was precisely what he was trying to do. I'm sure he knew his weak hit would be just slow enough and that Rickard would have gotten just the right jump to reach third on a ball to the left side.
  7. Dude, stop. Even if you're right that Osuna is being used too frequently there is nothing to suggest that this is affecting his performance yet. This isn't on Gibby just because you're predicting future problems. Sometimes teams lose. Sometimes a team's starter throws batting practice.
  8. Because they failed better? I'll give you that the Jays have been infuriating when it comes to contact, but a GO and a SF aren't anything to be impressed with. Martin grounded out with two guys on, but that was a DP because the Jays had more guys on base. Machado makes two outs v. Osuna if there was a guy on first. I don't even think the Orioles are a bad team, but I don't exactly think this is what makes them good.
  9. Even if Osuna is used too much for your liking, how can you say that overuse was the problem? 2 Ks and a weak flyout. He looked pretty good to me. Sometimes good hitters get hits.
  10. Oh okay. Should have given him another day off so professional hitters would flail cluelessly.
  11. What did Gibbons do?
  12. I wish I had a grilled cheese that would grow back.
  13. Has Stro made any Ks today that weren't caught looking oopsies?
  14. Two-strike ass shot on Kim with a runner on. Didn't seem like anyone took anything from it.
  15. I honestly don't know how else to re-ask my original question.
  16. I know. I'm just asking about the last clean inning.
  17. When was the last clean inning Stroman has had? Has to be a few starts ago. Or maybe there were a couple at some point in those. Seems like he's been giving up runners or runs every inning in each of his last three or four starts.
  18. Stroman is so, so bad. Everything is getting stung.
  19. @MLBDraft on Twitter is good too. I'm on my phone and don't want to refresh a blog.
  20. 9-3 vs the Sox and Yanks and then two gross losses and suddenly June 7 is the end. Much panties, such bunched!
  21. Other than letting Sanchez get himself into trouble, he did nothing wrong. His hitters almost literally could not put their bats on the ball.
  22. That was a good pitch. Salty must have fallen asleep given how much he's chased tonight.
  23. Great job by Osuna being fireman in a situation that didn't need to be so likely to have a fire. You'd think after the last Boston game that Gibby would stop getting sentimental against scary lineups.
  24. No offence despite 11 walks + Gibbons leaving his starter in despite having his best reliever ready. Always trying to get his starter a feather in the cap and it backfires almost every time.
