  1. Wow. Offense coming through. Great work by Trav there.
  2. I do too. It's just easy to dislike his swagger, especially when he is this bad.
  3. Pretty easy to dislike Stroman these days.
  4. Being worth a win and half over a quarter of one season seems like a pretty productive player, though, even if he wasn't at his peak.
  5. I'd agree that his offensive performance so far this year has been ugly, but was he really 1.4 WAR last year in his short time with the Jays? And this is including when he missed September after his collision with Pillar?
  6. http://content.sportslogos.net/logos/53/78/thumbs/7811292000.gif @ http://content.sportslogos.net/logos/53/52/thumbs/lalqok5u1hvc8e6s42cwge1rv.gif BLUE JAYS: Carrera, RF Donaldson, DH Encarnacion, 1B Saunders, LF Martin, C Tulowitzki, SS Pillar, CF Travis, 2B Barney, 3B O's: Jones, CF Kim, LF Trumbo, RF Davis, 1B Wieters, C Schoop, 2B Alvarez, DH Hardy, SS Flaherty, 3B Marcus Stroman vs Chris Tillman Some factoids from MLB.com's preview • Blue Jays left fielder Michael Saunders has crushed the Orioles pitching staff this season. He belted three home runs in the series opener Friday, and he went 1-for-3 with a walk against Baltimore on Saturday. • Tillman allowed two runs in six innings on April 21 in his only start against the Blue Jays this season. In his career, he's 4-10 with a 5.65 ERA against Toronto. • O's All-Star third baseman Manny Machado will begin serving his four-game suspension Sunday. He had started in a league-leading 229 consecutive games. --- This is the conclusion of the third series between the Jays and Orioles. Current record is 5-4 in favour of Toronto. The Jays are 3-1 on this roadtrip that started with a mini-series in Philly. Next series will be at home vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks after Monday's off-day. --- MY SECOND GDT. MY RECORD IS 0-1, but that one loss was the Odor-Bautista brawl so that's got to be worth something. But with Machado and Bautista both off the field, I don't think we'll be getting any benches clearing. Maybe Stroman will take a shot at Davis and we can see if HDMH really matters.
  7. Yeah, he was looking pretty good before going down. I'm hoping it won't take too long for him to reach that level again.
  8. Goddamn is Carrera ever sloppy. Leaping when he doesn't need to, clanks right off his own glove. Just terrible.
  9. Rickard's too, especially since it was followed up by a HR.
  10. You'd honestly rather have Goins or Barney than Tulo hitting? He doesn't have to be even 75% healthy to be a better option than them.
  11. Tulo is back, I guess. Taking flat fastballs on two strikes... again. In his defence, it was outside... but you can't just stare at something that close.
  12. You do amazing GDTs. Effort deserves a shout out.
  13. For a FO who has already stated they'll be moving the team's best starter to the pen by August, I have to think they wouldn't make a desperation move with Tulo while the team is scoring 60 runs a game daily and 1 GB out of the division lead with two days off next week. Tulo may not be up to speed, but he's healthy enough to play.
  14. They rushed him back because they're out Bautista for the next two weeks. They could have given him a longer rehab period but I don't think it's a mystery why they activated him ahead of time. Is a recovering Tulo worse than Goins? No way. If he's healthy enough to play MiLB, he's healthy enough to play MLB.
  15. Seems aggressive considering he got shut down. Has he been in many games since the setback? His presence should mitigate any loss of production from Jose's absence, though. Lineup is still pretty scary, tbh.
  16. Poor O's fans having to put up with Mike Wright. After tonight I bet they'd just prefer Mike left.
  17. Didn't see the whole mess but it seems to be that Mike Wright should not have run his mouth last week.
  18. Whatever else happens in this game, that was pretty badass by Aaron.
  19. At the risk of sounding like an idiot, wasn't it Carrera with the rolled ankle? That's why Goins went out to RF and Trav had to cover the infield.
