Have we ever seen a fully loaded Jays lineup without one guy or another being out?
By that I mean,
Russell, Smoak, Travis, JD, Tulo, Saunders, Pillar, EE, and JB in the same lineup?
He's a fifth OF. Can't expect all that much. Pompey's only coming up of he can play, which will only happen if Zeke hits the concrete.
EE, Josh, Saunders, and Martin should be able to hold the fort at least. Tulo soon too, hopefully.
What is it exactly that's making everyone question Sanchez's durability? Is it just because he's been mostly limited to the pen for the two years prior to this one?
Barker is a doof but Travis missed almost a whole year + this year's ST. It's not inconceivable to go with Barney as the regular so Trav can get some reps in. I don't even know if that would be a good idea, but way dumber things have happened.
So will Buck and Pat admire the impenetrable wall of Shift there that prevented a run from scoring with the same fervor as they rip it when some lefty plops a bases-empty oopsie single to an unmanned third base?
Usually hitting coaches don't throw their pupils under the bus to the media.
"With his patience he'll be lucky to hit .260 and get on at .300. Maybe 10 home runs if he has a few hot streaks."
Not going to happen. Just ignore media releases.
