    Is this supposed to be a reply to my post? No one of note? What does this have to do with Gibbons? Though I'm not surprised some posters around here can't grasp the concept of different individuals in an organization having different jobs and responsibilities. I remember when Donaldson threw a ball into CF trying to make a heroic double play. Half the board blamed Bo Schultz, then Gibbons, then Alex Anthopolous.

    I wasn't huge on Gibby letting Cecil kill himself today, but just for shits: can someone tell me which giant-brained, super insightful individual is out there sitting on his couch not being employed by a Major League Baseball team? Assuming you believe that it is Gibby who is holding the team back, who should replace him? Too bad Joe Maddon isn't available! He knows how to get the most out of his pitchers - f***, he's so good that even though he manages another team now the Rays staff is still phenomenal. How the f*** does he manage that?

    Seriously. Any other workplace would have extremely shaky morale in this situation. Throw in major league egos, major league money, and ticking clock careers and it's got to be pretty resentful in there.

    Kudos to the Oriole hitters for laying off Cecil's pitches, but Cecil needs to find a way to get these guys out if they're not biting.

    IMO, this is a tremendous milestone for anyone to achieve and for someone to happen to come into possession of the object of that milestone, refuse to give it to the person who wants it back, and add it to their own collection of trinkets is douchey and rotten. I don't give a s*** if A-Rod is a billionaire or the most disliked guy in sports. Give him the f***ing ball if he wants it.

    Dudes, don't like s*** on the internet when you're on the clock. You'll get caught red handed. At one of the last places I worked the late-shift people would f*** around on Facebook without remembering they also befriended the manager in charge. So he'd casually browse FB when he got home and see So-and-so post a comment at 6:30 PM right smack in the middle of their workday. He could either let it slide, which would mean he's neglecting his job to get production out of his workers, or he'd come in the next day and bitch at people and look like a f***ing tyrant because he's Big Brothering you from home. It was no win for him. Sucked.
