    thank you The next attempt to nab a runner at 3rd or home probably would have aggravated it, or even his next home run swing. It was bound to happen, so even though the tipping point was rather silly it really wasn't going to be prevented.

    I'll say he comes out by or after the third AB of tonight's game. How effective can a RHH Reyes be while facing a righty anyway? It's something he probably hasn't done in over a decade.

    You're right. If you can't change everything, might as well not even try to change anything. Pitches being weapons and benches clearing are exceedingly rare and the players are punished accordingly. Cursing and drunkenness and violence in the stands also isn't tolerated, even if it does happen. The league or the stadiums don't condone that stuff, which is entirely different than allowing a player to enter to some smutty song (I have no idea what the song is).

    Thought they'd go Delabar since Cecil seems to have been given his old job back. On the other hand, Cecil has pitched in two straight ball games.

    Phil Coke and Hector Rondon teaming up to blow a 4-run lead to the Padres in the ninth. Currently 6-5, 2 out, runner on second. EDIT: Implosion complete. Yangervis Solarte singles home the tying run.

    Hynes came up as a loogy, did he not? With Cecil out as closer (or at least only part of a closing committee), he can go back to his regular role from last year that Hynes was filling in for. Delabar makes sense for Hynes.

    Who the hell said that? Even if Lawrie blossoms into a superstar from this season on, we still have Donaldson here for one more year than we would have had Lawrie. We traded Lawrie for Ultimate Lawrie.
