    Not just that, but just the fact that even a little interference is interference. Frustrating. And yeah, the kid blatantly reached over. I'm going to propose an extreme thing: On home run calls, there shouldn't have to be conclusive evidence to disprove an on-field call. How about just make the correct call? There's no f***ing way the umpire could have had a decent enough look at the play, the wall, or the catch. Go back to the review room with a blank slate and go from there. Don't consider any close HR call as gospel because anything that ends up over the wall looks like a home run. Unless the kid leaps over the player, there's no way an ump can reliably call interference.

    Someone has probably already posted this exact opinion in the 17 pages before this one, but I'll never know because I'm not going back to read it: I think some young, studly players need to be brought in. With the very real possibility that 2016 could be the end of either or both of Bautista and Edwin in Toronto, supplementary pieces to Donaldson, Tulo, Martin, and Travis need to be in place. I've seen a few posters throw out the idea of Heyward. I think he'd fit in perfect given the roster projection, not to mention being a very fine player himself. I imagine he'll be a super hot commodity though.

    Man, nothing will be that bad. Game 6 of 2011 was something else. I can't imagine the sting has gone away for Rangers fans. Imagine being a Braves die-harder in the 90s. A fate worse than death. What do you mean? Who else would they help? EDIT: Oh you mean which team will they arbitrarily favour? I'd say the Mets because New York, yeah.

    Hoping the Mets take this. Would be pretty sweet to see the Royals lose a second straight World Series. Yeah, I'm vindictive. You know what, though? f*** you.

    Navarro probably has better contact ability. And, really, any contact probably would have scored Pompey there. Plus Navarro needed to come in anyway to replace Martin. I was fine with it. It would have had a greater chance of turning out favourable if not for the completely ******** strike calls.

    Any baseball fan should. Hell, I was the first one to call BS on the awful ball four to Bautista in Game 5. I immediately turned to my girlfriend and said, "******** - clearly a strike - the ump didn't even need an excuse to ring up Bautista and he missed it anyway". The only people who don't call the ninth inning strike zone BS are Royals fans and the "Well That's Life" crowd. No that's not life. That's ********. Higher standards please, loser.

    MLB officiating is a certified joke. This should be clear now since replay review removes any excuse for botching a call. None of us were under any illusion that the play would be overturned, though. The Blue Jays had to put up with so much ******** officiating this postseason. 1) Odor being called safe when out 2) The 'dead ball' call off Choo's bat, which should have ended the whole play (correct call was made but for the ump's actions during the play) 3) Moustakas' "home run"

    This photo is such a testament to ******** officiating. Great job, Royals. Great work, MLB. Yes, this. The kid shouldn't have been reaching. But the officials with cameras, replays, and slow motion should have made the correct call.

    This can honestly not be understated. The Blue Jays were given that game. Andrus was Bucknoring all over the place.

    Yeah, me too. It wasn't a typically hot-headed guy who was losing his s***. It was Revere -- the smiliest, most happy-go-lucky guy since Reyes. Everybody felt the same.

    Outside of the consistent wrongness of hitting Alex Gordon 8th and Escobar 1st (which... ended up working in the Royals' favour), I'm not sure there was anything that was face-palm stupid by Yost. Maybe leaving a pitcher in too long, etc., but I consider those relatively forgivable. I did miss game 4 in almost its entirety, though.

    This is a situational decision. I'm not opposed to a PR, but there'd better be a high chance of scoring if I'm taking Bautista or Donaldson out of this game.
