  1. Can't believe that one error opened the floodgates like that. Terrible.
  2. LOL On the slow wipe from a billowing flag and emotional fans to a f***ing cartoon mascot lion in a giant crown with his hand on his heart. LOLLL
  3. More likely the pitcher completely gasses him because he's not afraid of Cliff Pennington.
  4. For real. How was that a play other teams can't make? Can't stand Buck's sensationalism.
  5. You took the car flag down after Game 2? Come on, dude.
  6. I left work early on Wednesday with the team down 2-0 because I wanted to watch them go out if it came to that instead of just hear about it. I'll be sticking around until this end of this one too, even though I don't want to. Get 'em tomorrow, I guess.
  7. I've been complaining about him for years. My friends are like, "dude why do you even care this much?" "I don't know."
  8. Good lord I hate Joe Buck's commentary. He just sits on a play waiting to belt out some superlative. *silence* *silence* swing-and-miss - "OVERMATCHED!" as the crowd drowns out the audio. Brutal. He gets money for this.
  9. "Three pitches, one out!" "Mmh!" -Joe Buck & Harold Reynolds, professional game commentators.
  10. Jays hitters were lost against Volquez. Royals pieced together two runs and Perez smashed a solo too. Estrada wasn't terrible. Also, thread has turned on Tulo. Spotted some Reyes yearners.
  11. Volquez's forehead must have its own moons. Wow, what a dome.
  12. Nobody can get a read on Volquez. Hittable pitches going right through all over the place.
  13. Did anyone catch that barely-sober tangent about JD's "improved" defense at 3B after switching from C? Jesus, Harold. Have some bread. Have a coffee.
  14. Luck. Cola and Tulo both made solid contact. Hopefully it continues. In the first inning Volquez was totally dancing around the zone.
  15. Love all the awful stats the commentators just threw out about Escobar.
  16. This is such an MLB.com list. What is the point of comparing closers? If a closer comes in, his team is ready to win the game. A player in the closer role really doesn't match up with his counterpart the way players at other positions do. What's next, best lead off man? Best groundball guy? Best 8 hitter?
  17. I can live with 15-year-olds. It's the drinking age shitheads that need to go in a hole and have concrete poured over them.
  18. For real. There's no good reason a parent shouldn't be able to bring a baby to the game. Unfortunately there are also a lot of stupid reasons they should be cautious. Last night was f***ing embarrassing.
  19. Oh yeah, I don't blame him either. He is what he is right now. I'm really only criticizing management for the way they use him.
  20. It's not the sample size people are pissed about. It's his body of work from 2015 + the better K options in the bullpen. There are very good reasons why using Sanchez like this is sub-optimal. Short of needing a DP, there are no circumstances in which Sanchez's contact outs are more desirable than the Ks guys like Lowe or Hendriks can provide. Hell, even in a DP scenario I'd prefer the Ks. Ideally the fielders should never even have to field.
  21. This really bugged me too. And even after Sanchez was publicly stated to have dropped in the depth chart a couple of weeks ago. He just gets the f***in job right back. Just ridiculous.
  22. Yesterday's game still has me so pumped that I remembered to pay my Rogers bill on time this morning!
  23. This is true, to an extent. A lot are looking past Houston's late-season swoon though, which is more than reasonable. In a short series, it's tough to not be scared of the Astros -- their 8-game losing streak doesn't change that they have excellent pitching and a scary powerful lineup.
