    It's not quite that easy with him, most of his pitches appear they are in the zone, that's his success. He doesn't throw a straight pitch and it tails in any direction he chooses.

    EE should be the DH and Smoak at first. It's a ripple effect to plug him in. It's one game and quite frankly I don't care that much but they should always try to put their best team out there especially before the injuries hit when they have to throw s*** at the wall to see what sticks.

    However you slice it, if they kept the same payroll it would have a much higher cost. 137,000,000.00 USD = 172,123,668.54 CAD That's over $20MM more than last year if they kept payroll identical before moving money around.

    I've always felt the fastest of 6-9 should be last to never limit your lead off guy from stretching singles in to doubles, etc. I wouldn't want Navarro in front of Reyes for example
