I don't think there is a guy in baseball that attempts to stretch singles in to doubles more than Kiermaier. He's about as balls out hustle as you can get in that debt.

How is that useless when evaluating a trade? Player A is projected to provide much more value to a given team over his contract than player B. Saunders played in 78 games last year and was still a 2 WAR player compared to Happ's 1 WAR.
It's not about having Lind on this team but what better value could have been had for him. AA was far too quick to pull the trigger on a less valuable piece even if a reliever was the target.
