  1. Everyone likes to take chances on past first rounders (See our own GM), I think he'd get picked up.
  2. Close.. I mean his arm has been stitched back together twice, prior to that he could toss a no-hitter.
  3. Predicting wins is simply stupid, I mean surely you all predicted the Orioles were a 96 win team last year, right? Honestly I feel surprisingly optimistic about this season, a different feeling than the last couple. I was completely depressed when I heard Stro go down but yet I'm still feeling good about the team and things to look forward to. I like the young guys I'm seeing as well, whether they contribute to a winning team is another question but getting to watch them develop will be at least pretty fun. I think Norris will be quite good, and against all of the negativity some of you put on Sanchez, I think he has the ability to hang in there and be a capable 5th starter for us with good games and bad (ok call me bias I have him in a keeper league). What I'm most looking forward to? - Watching Norris take the mound - Travis & Pompey - Donaldson's smooth as $&@! home run swing - Martin's work with young pitchers - Possibly seeing Osuna/Castro in the bigs this season - The usual Bautista/EE bombs - Hutchison having a quiet yet career type season - Cecil holding down the fort - and not seeing Juan Francisco in our line up The good outweighs the bad and far outweighs the thoughts of being a .500 team because I think they are better than that. Not to mention with a lot riding on AA's future with the club this season, I think he has to go balls out for trade deadline. If we're in it to win it I think we'll see some drastic moves to make that happen.
  4. Maybe Smoak isn't throwing in the towel afterall
  5. If Gibby plans to put him in the 2 hole I worry.
  6. Too bad the bombs were all solo shots as usual. Martin's got to start getting on base. This line up could be pretty epic if healthy when you add EE, Saunders.
  7. Labeling Sanchez a bust is premature just let them all #cumtogether

  9. Buehrle would disagree with this.
  10. I didn't say I wanted him on the team, I said he will get the job out of ST...
  11. I think Izturis gets the job out of ST.
  12. Travis started like 0-11 or something I think, he's batting .300 now so he certainly is coming around. A lot of it has been AAA pitching he's faced but it seems like he's not out of place and likely leaving a good impression.
  13. So where is Redmond fitting in the BP? Is he still a long arm option? He put up a 3.56 FIP last year as mostly an inning eater.
  14. #DepthIsForPussies
  15. I'm getting pretty tired of that intro music between every inning. It's been like that since they rebranded.
  16. Pic of #25 Thomas looks like he's 12.
  17. I think he just trimmed some fat off by the looks of it.
