There is no way they are actually looking to move him, they are basically saying with the right offer he's available just like every player in the bigs not named Trout or Harper.

I think it's a pretty fair deal imo. There's nothing wrong with a team giving a big offer to their star player from the past 4 years that ends shortly when you can expect his decline to hit. It's not like a 10 year $250MM contract till he's 40.
