  1. CG Spring Training game.
  2. I think the fact he's not walking guys is most important here. He can get major league batters out, he's proven that but to limit his damage he needs to not walk 5 guys in a game.
  3. http://33.media.tumblr.com/625897d7af802e93d0e38b1a95720593/tumblr_ng75k2LPvy1rfj2evo2_500.gif
  4. Aaron Sanchez SSS Spring Training 13.2IP 1.98 ERA 3ER 15K 3BB
  5. Because twitter allows for poor journalism
  6. Tulo has been in beastmode all Spring and with EE still out we really can't afford to lose him.
  7. I think it's easier when you realize he's not going to pitch an entire season and you're paying another dude $1MM who can probably go half a season at a similar result.
  8. Wilner: "And the Jays go 3 up 3 down in a very different fashion than the Mets did." Jays literally just went 1K, 1 GO, 1 FO and I'm certain he wasn't joking.
  9. but it wasn't a swinging K so it doesn't count obv
  10. Yea I definitely prefer his radio voice don't get me wrong, the rest is a bit meh. I also don't care for him being so vocal about being such a devoted Christian, good for him but not my cup of tea. I did however, enjoy him ripping on Reyes for smiling all the time after booting a ball, you could feel the frustration in his voice after a 20yr absence of seeing playoff baseball.
  11. Name another 21 year old closer who feels he can help the team win the most in the BP than as a starter? Probably none and I think that's what Jerry was talking about. Sanchez has been vocal that he wants to start but I also think he'd accept any role given knowing he'll get his chance at some point regardless. After the feud between Jerry & Reyes I'm forever a Jerry fan and will back that man up lol. #SmileForJerry
  12. Keep it up and I see new poster of the year award if your Oct join date doesn't disqualify you.
  13. I think Colabello & Smoak back to back makes for good early comparisons going in to regular season for Gibby.
  14. That'll change when he realizes how much more $ he can make.
  15. because the bat flip, or something.
  16. Why do people constantly feel like the Jays future is doom and gloom because 2 old sluggers won't be returning? Do you think the annual money the Jays are willing to spend on them will be spent on replacement level scrubs?
  17. Nobody can lean back in an office chair in a corner after a game like John Gibbons... you don't let those managers walk.
  18. It is very cowardly and I'm not advocating that it's okay or that it should be morally accepted, just the comparison given was poor. Getting hit by a pitch is extremely common and usually doesn't result in broken bones or serious injuries whereas a baseball bat to a pitcher's knee would most certainly end his season or career. There were over 1500 hit by pitches last season alone.
  19. Getting hit in the ass, or back, or back of leg, elbow pad, ankle guard, shoulder is not the same as a baseball bat to the knee.
  20. Sanchez should be in Buffalo waiting the eventual time when Floyd's arm falls off considering the last time he pitched over 54 innings in a season was 4 years ago.
  21. probably not actually.
  22. What a horrible comparison. An elite reliever has to be able to get both sides out, otherwise Aaron Loup isn't just a loogy, he's an elite reliever too.
  23. I want Floyed as the 5th starter. He looks ready to go.
