  1. The 5.20 FIP is from his career .154 BABIP vs L. His results have still been okay, pretty sure it's not about long term sustainability here.
  2. Cecil will come in to face 3 LHH in a row in any close game if the situation comes to it.
  3. You're looking at 14IP vs L, just saying. They also batted .137 / .254 / .314
  4. I agree, though there was never an indication Hutch was in the running for the 5th after about week 1.
  5. We all knew it was down to Sanchez of Floyd pretty early on though.
  6. I think several reasons; Travis has already proven he can provide a consistent bat in the bigs and he's a much better lead off option for this team than anyone we have without disrupting the order. Goins provides a more flexible defensive option as a utility player and most are still skeptical of his bat.
  7. Hutchison has no business being in the BP though, we need an arm that can be called upon from AAA when the inevitable hits. Carrera making the team over Ceciliani is such a joke, I really didn't care where that guy ended up as long as it wasn't on our starting roster.

  9. Run differential is a different convo, but trying to suggest our rotation is better than the Rays is just being a giant homer.
  10. With the exception of Stroman, Estrada, Sanchez, Dickey & Happ are all projected to be 4+ ERA arms this season. With the exception Moore, all of the Rays rotation are projected to be sub 4 ERA arms this season. Do the math Mr. Accountant.
  11. They are 13 wins better now are they? lol
  12. Tor / Det Biagini Pitching Kinsler reaches on throwing error by 3B David Adams Upton Singles to right fielder Ceciliani, Upton advanced to 2nd on throwing error by Ceciliani Biagini Wild Pitch to Martinez That all happened 3 of first 4 batters lol.
  13. Found someone else who put on 25lbs of muscle in one year http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ennpcHsPTBA&t=9m59s
  14. Major League Team vs the D Squad http://i.imgur.com/TWblMqI.jpg
  15. The downer is, one could argue others in our division have better.
  16. Blue Jays are going to put posters of them all over Woodbridge.
  17. true except he'll claim he's ready after wrecking minor league pitchers for a week.
  18. His 2013 season was the most feel good story of a player I've seen in a Jay uniform. I was really disappointed last Spring when they didn't keep him on, not to mention how senseless it was losing a year a of control of Castro / Osuna at the time. I hope he finds success elsewhere.
  19. Except it's a photo from last Spring unless he dusted off an old hat.
  20. Who's that guy?
  21. Lefties can't hit Delabar though if that's part of the decision, he either Ks them or walks them. I've always thought he could come in against lefties as a backup option.
  22. I like Delabar to some degree but much like Sanchez he's simply not reliable enough to come in with runners on base, he simply walks too many and needs a clean inning of work to be effective. Not sure he's that useful for us anymore.
  23. if he uses him as a defined loogy in Spring Training he'll get 2.2 IP.
