    ... and I didn't say he was. He's just more useful out of the pen where he limits his walk rate and induces weak contact. He just needs to be better managed and never come in to stop the damage because he isn't getting you the K. Oh yea, he probably shouldn't face left handers either. He really should just face a team full of righties in the 7th inning. That's his role lol.

    What a s***** way to end his career. He was actually playing well prior to his stair accident, was kind of hoping he'd hang around.

    I don't believe Sanchez will ever reach a 3.5 or better walk rate as a starter regardless of a few months of AAA (The past 6 years says so). I think he's destined for the pen.

    We don't have flexibility in trading EE and putting in more effort for a contract year thing doesn't usually apply. Wouldn't you put more effort in winning for a team you want to retire with over a team you won't be playing for in a few months?

    I see lots of Blue Jays & Cardinals (and too many Robins/Orioles) I have a rowan berry tree in the middle of my backyard and about every bird in town comes by for snacks late in the summer. It's like a supersized bird feeder.
