  1. Yeah because all those swinging strikes means he's not fooling anyone. You are probably not even watching the game and just looking at the boxscore with a comment like that.
  2. Just need to sit on that slow breaking ball. Hes throwing a ton of strikes
  3. I don't know why but everytime Reyes throws the ball I feel like its going to be a shorthop the 1B. The arm action seems like he doesn't finish his throws.
  4. I like that both these pitchers work fast. Could be a quick game.
  5. Might as well of struck out would of been a better outcome.
  6. Love that 2 seam. He legit has 4 plus pitches with the changeup being close to average as well.
  7. Dome looks pretty dead tonight. Can't really blame the fans though.
  8. Wow thats a huge loss for them. Its too bad the Blue Jays are so far out of the division lead as if it was within 5 games there could be a decent chance to win the division.
  9. Like you said just because you have a single owner with lots of money doesn't mean its going to be successful. I'm a sens fan and Eugene Melnyk might be the worst owner in the NHL. Not only does he not spend money but he even was present in player exit interviews. He ran the greatest player in Franchise history out of town as well.
  10. I don't think you can say that because the value they provide is going to make their pitchers value go up and cost more. And you are going to be paying more for those pitchers so in the end you are still paying that money. And I don't think you can account for pitch framing in the future because I think Umpires are coming more aware of it.
  11. If their time frame of competing is 2016 why would they trade for Cespedes who is under control for next year? Cuban or not that would does not make sense. They aren't trading Stanton anyway.
  12. To those that hate pitch framing, this is what it has done for the Blue Jays this season. http://www.foxsports.com/mlb/just-a-bit-outside/story/who-has-been-helped-and-hurt-the-most-by-the-art-of-pitch-framing-082214
  13. To put it into perspective the Mariners are closer to win the AL West than the Jays in the AL East.
  14. Good thing they have a 9 game lead in the division...
  15. And give them enough money which might include going over the luxury tax if they need to in 2016
  16. Its going to take an overpay beyond an overpay to pry Stanton from Miami most likely though.
  17. Definitely a plus slider and great life on the fastball. Curve looks like an at least average pitch as well.
  18. Yeah thats my feeling as well. If he can provide what Hutch is doing right now I'd be happy and take that in a second. I don't think he will be as inconsistent as Hutch or at least hope.
  19. From a scout that charted him his last start he said he sat 89-93 and can touch the mid 90s. Doesn't sound too out of line. Anyone expecting him to sit 94 I think has to temper expectations. From what scouts say they think his upside is a number 3 starter.
  20. Meh I'm not sure any free agent will want to come to the Raptors if Mark Cohon is the president.
  21. I feel like McCarthy will be resigned by New York which is a shame because I really wanted the Blue Jays to trade for him this season.
