  1. I trade my 2018 5th round MILB pick to L54 for 78,84 and 104.
  2. Thing about Schwarber is if he can't play C he needs to be a >120wRC+ bat to have decent value. Basically like a younger Steve Pearce in a way. If the Jays had an opening at 1B or DH I think I'd like him more.
  3. Wouldn't get too excited about a 21 Year old in Rookie ball just yet.
  4. I like that deal for them. Didn't really give up much considering they are getting 2 really good relievers and Doolittle is on a great contract.
  5. Anyone who has extra picks that will be wasted send me a PM.
  6. Yeah Estrada, Liriano and Bautista is getting you nothing of value if they continue to perform like this. Maybe you get someone to eat half their remaining contract for the season but that's about it. If Smith comes back healthy I think he should get something decent.
  7. For his Blue Jays tickets he said it isn't great compared to the last 2 years but not nearly as bad as you would think. A lot of his sales are to lawyers, doctors, bankers so he's getting way more than what they're going on Stubhub and the likes. But he said a lot of the brokers are from the States and those are the guys that have like rows of seats, and those companies own tickets for like half the teams so even if the Jays suck it wouldn't effect their bottom line.
  8. When we say Sunday at Midnight we mean 12AM Monday right? Like not tonight..
  9. Yeah I know a guy who is one so that's how I know. Basically he said Stubhub, Vivid Seats and a couple other sites are all the same tickets. When someone buys the tickets then they get removed off the other sites.
  10. It is mostly brokers though because if you go on the other marketplaces not as big as stubhub there are still 4K tickets available so its about 65% of the tickets on stubhub. The big reason for the ticket jump is because when a team makes the playoffs a lot of people will buy season tickets next year to get the playoff tickets. Teams are already getting smarter about cutting out the middleman and charging market rates for tickets.
  11. Well for perspective in 2015 there used to be about 800-1200 tickets on the secondary market for every game. That jumped to about 2000 or a little higher last year and this year its 5000-7000 every game. Some of it is season ticket holders yes but the majority are brokers from not just Toronto but in the States. Its basic supply-demand and that is why tickets are going for so low this year. If there was only 2000 tickets for every game on Stubhub they'd be going for a lot higher even if the Roger's Centre wasn't sold out. There might be 500 tickets that are the average joe trying to sell on Kijiji, really not a big dent to cause a marketplace shift.
  12. The perks have sucked this year. Got rid of the SOTF, Season Ticket holder autograph signing and the batting practice on the field. They say they're available through the blue jays point thing but that's garbage as they're trying to get you to spend more $ to get more points. Next year I think the STH will be lower as now they can see exactly who is selling tickets, so my guess is they cut a lot of brokers out with the good seats. That's the biggest reason why tickets are cheap on the secondary market, not because of how the team is doing.
  13. I'll cut Forrest Wall and Harold Ramirez.
  14. Honestly I like the 1:07 start. I think the players would prefer the 4:07 though.
  15. If you are a Toronto sports fan should probably just subscribe its dirt cheap too.
  16. Obviously.. but Sanchez doesn't have that much value right now being hurt with a chronic blister issue.
  17. As a Jays fan I'd take that deal for Stroman.
  18. That's a haul wow good for the White Sox. Wonder how the move is going to affect Quintana and his family.
  19. Thing about Gordon is he could go Ben Revere at any time. I don't really want a guy who relies on his speed after he's 30.
  20. The cutter to Bellinger was nasty too. Started on the outside black then finishes inside.
  21. The Kenny interviews were terrible but the Harper and Springer interviews while in the OF were pretty cool.
  22. I doubt it. Catchers have said it isn't really an advantage to hit against a guy you've caught before. If a guy has nasty stuff its going to be tough to hit no matter what.
  23. Betances looks like he did against Toronto.
  24. No need to go all SJW. Personally I don't give a s*** what anyone does each is to their own. IMO nip piercings look ridiculous.
