Those projections don't include Dickey and Buehrle's defence and Martin's framing. Also doesn't have Travis playing 2nd base. Add that all up and its 4 more wins at least.
Lol I think the guy who is in that position knows that if he has multiple teams wanting to take him for nothing then he has leverage to wait... Perfectly reasonable to wait a few weeks to see if you can get a team to bite and give up something decent. If you can't then you trade him for the best you can get.
A couple of those were long boards off the back rim. Not really much you can do about that. Its frustrating in the last couple mins but sometimes you just get bad bounces. Raps were actually the better rebounding team last night.
Raps 12 OREB on 31 chances
Cavs 12 OREB on 35 chances
Probably a path similar to Norris. He still needs work on his secondary pitches and command. Right now the fastball is plus (maybe plus plus) but thats it.
Morosi is an idiot but he is not nearly as annoying. He doesn't tweet out his opinions as facts like Heyman. Morosi also seems like a much better person listening to interviews etc...
I think they know that good relievers have a ton of trade value at the deadline, so they are signing them only to flip them at the deadline. Only logical explanation I have,
Heyman is one of the most annoying on Twitter. Half the time he tweets garbage speculation and the other half he just tweets garbage like this. Maybe he meant winter meetings? White Sox are still a bad team...
The age kinda scares me in terms of defense. I mean he is a guy I'd give 1 or 2 million too but what exactly is he looking for? The LH bat would be nice I suppose.
The thing I hate the most (and I see it happen around the league all the time) is that in the last few minutes teams will try to waste clock instead of trying to get a good shot right from when they have possession. I've seen it a few times now where Lowry just waits at the top of the 3 point line untill about 14 sec left on the shotclock then runs the play.
What then happens is if the other team plays good defense taking away the first or 2nd look then it turns into a rushed low % shot. I feel like Lowry doing too many isos late in the game instead of moving the ball around which is how the Raps have been successful. Lowry is such a good player that its hard to argue with him but it seems like he is a little stubborn sometimes and that seemed evident with the last regulation shot in the DEN game.
Those junk fouls were all off the ball though so they really didn't help the Cavs put points on the board. That last 5 count wasn't even 5 seconds so it goes both ways. Raps deserved to lose with how they played in the 4th, bottom line.
Oh well. Raps should have won but theres been games this season where they should of lose and ended up winning. Tonight was the reverse. On to the next one.
