Still really early and in 5 years we will look back and there will probably be some really good players. Embidif he can get healthy should be an elite player. He has a decent shot of being a top 10 player in a few years, I think he is that good.

I think AA would actually be a good president. He is great at talking and negotiating which could be great for convincing Rogers to spend more money when it comes time. He sure as hell would be better than guys like Ken Williams. As for GM I would think Lacava would be promoted to GM, no? He seems to be AA's right hand man.

I think Lowrie is overrated. He's a pretty bad SS defensively and I'm not sure if he would be that much better at 2B. I think he is a decent player but for the term/$ he is going to get he might not be the best fit.

So is this happening or not? If he can make almost 4 million in Japan it seems like wed have to give him at least a 2 year deal in the 7 or 8 range.

They aren't winning anything anytime soon. And with that ballpark you can attract the guys trying to re-establish their value and get similar production for a fraction of the price without the risk of a long term deal.

So Ervin Santana to the Twins for 4/54. Not sure why the Twins made this signing.

They are both areas that the team could get a decent upgrade. SP would allow Sanchez to go to the bullpen and help 2 areas while outside a player who has never played above AA the Jays have garbage at 2B.

Latos only has 1 year left and had a pretty poor year with his stuff declining a little. Seems fair to me when you include salary.

Masterson got 9.5 from red sox. Thats a pretty big price for a deal to restablish value.

His power would be perfect for that ballpark.

Also some good news

Watched most of that game as well. Man the Twolves are bad. They made such terrible mistakes in the worst possible situations. If they weren't throwing the ball away they were taking long 2s etc... I think Wiggins really has to develop his handles. He's got a great first step and a decent jumpshot but when he has the ball it almost seems like he is a robot as he is predetermined on what he is going to do. He has so much potential but I see him being an allstar more than being an elite player. If Embid can stay healthy he will be the best player from that draft class.

3 mets players were taken early in AAA part so maybe we just missed out.

That contract is awful. 200 million left on it...

Lol at the Morales contract. Justin Smoak has a pretty good chance to be the better player and is making 16 million less.

Jays pass in the minor league portion of the draft as well. Well this is underwhelming.
