  1. Hazel tried to get him to talk about the actual city of Toronto twice and he didn't take the bait lol. Wonder if he actually likes the city since we didn't hear his thoughts on Toronto when the story came out about Price, Stroman and buehrle all loving it.
  2. Its funny because that is pretty much what AA did. Obviously 10 million is less than 325 but relative to the money AA earns its comparable.
  3. How? Goins was striking out a 3rd of the time in the playoffs and Navarro is one of the best contact hitters on the team.
  4. Alright someone start a gofundme page to bring Shulman back full time.
  5. Also look like they are fake. I'll probably sell the jerseys on Kijiji for $20. Someone will want it.
  6. I know Stephen Brooks is paid in CAD as I'm sure most employees on the business side are. The on-field staff is pretty close to players though so thats why I was wondering.
  7. $150 seems like a lot but I guess its worth it. By showing up early you are going to spend money on food and drinks anyway.
  8. If the Blue Jays were struggling I could see MLB giving them something, but not after the season they just had. If a team made $50 million why should MLB give them more money? Does anyone know what currency Blue Jays executives are paid in? I would assume its CAD but for the big jobs like President, GM and manager I wonder if it would be USD.
  9. Anyone know what the promotional giveaway package is for $150 each?
  10. Would you pay a 5% increase in ticket costs for Shulman to be the fulltime pxp guy?
  11. When you have kids Summer is the easiest time to plan vacations for your family. It's a long ass season for them since they are on the road with the team too.
  12. I'm sure they hoped he would fail because he is a piece of s*** not just for no reason. I bet the team being bad has something to do with his attitude but he may just be a bad apple like Puig.
  13. Making it to the 2nd round is a lot better than missing the playoffs lol. If they miss the playoffs no FA will even consider Toronto. I think at this point you have to do all you can to lure a Durant/Horford in FA.
  14. My guess is Masai thinks if they can win a round in the playoffs it will make Toronto look more attractive to Free agents. At that point they can part with Derozan. If they trade Derozan and get swept first round/miss the playoffs no FA would ever consider Toronto.
  15. I think you want to have a backup C that catches Dickey. I don't want any of those 3 especially Soto because of that annoying thing he does when he throws the ball back to the P. Watching him do that for 30-40 games would be frustrating.
  16. The team actually isn't that bad. Top 10 in net rating and could very easily be 9-4 if they got a couple breaks. So far my takeaways on the season are: The Good -JV has improved even if he makes a bad mistake here and there - Cory Joseph is a lot better than I thought he would be and a great 6th man - Lowry looks really good still The Bad - Carrol hasn't been as good as I thought especially offensively. Seems to force a lot of shots -Scola frustrates the hell out of me with his shot selection and awful attempts at drawing charges - Derozan still takes too many mid range shots even if he cut down the number of long 2s - Biyombo is such a disaster on offence to the point he is a negative player - Terrance Ross
  17. Ah I missed the all Home games. Yeah that would make sense. But then it gets to the point of where he is only doing Monday-Thursday Home games since the SNB crew flies out on Fridays.
  18. I doubt he'd want the hassle of calling 150 games/year, its a ton of work for someone who doesn't need any money. 30 Games is probably perfect for him since he can continue to coach and have all the free time with his family etc..
  19. It will be in the packages page.
  20. He probably makes even more than that in the 2-3 million range now that I think about it.
  21. Would never happen. He makes more than a Million/year with ESPN. Rogers wouldn't even pay him half of that to be a fulltime broadcaster.
  22. http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/the-nature-of-dallas-keuchels-contact/ Relevant article about Keuchel considering the discussion generated about him winning the CY Young last night.
  23. Interested to see how he improves defensively at Kentucky. I think at this point its safe to say he will be a good offensive player but the question is going to be if he will be able to defend guards at the next level since he isn't that athletic (relative to NBA guards).
  24. lol can't see players being thrilled about that... I think its just 1 session but you need to sign up beforehand.
  25. First good thing ESPN has done this year.
