  1. My guess is the way Gibby feels isn't the same as the way the FO feels.
  2. Gibbons said Colabello will see "plenty of time vs RHP this season".
  3. A 24% HR/FB rate is not sustainable at all and you know it.
  4. lol I didn't mean that as a reply to your post. Sorry haha
  5. Seems the guy was legit. Multiple people reporting it now.
  6. Aaron Loup vs RHB in 2015: 9.35 K/9 2.08 BB/9 48%GB rate Thats likely better than any reliever the Blue Jays are going to acquire from now until Spring Training.
  7. Apparently the Dodgers are signing Maeda according to this guy. https://twitter.com/DfineNrmLC/with_replies Heyman tweeted it out so he must feel confident the guy is legit.
  8. Lol the best part is all of the sponsors on the rink boards are Canadian companies like Tim Hortons, Esso etc.. even when it is in Europe.
  9. Really hope if Revere is still on the team he doesn't bat leadoff. Id also have Bautista bat 2nd since he gets on base more than Donaldson.
  10. My guess is there is 20-25K STH for the upcoming year. Weekday games will be in the high 20k and weekend games will be sell outs for the first couple months. If they do really well into June most games in the summer time will have attendance in the high 30s low 40s.
  11. Lets not forget with the CBA expiring, QO might go away. Especially for the guys like Kazmir.
  12. If Kazmir has a year like he has had in the last 3 he is going to get more than 2/32 on the open market? The FA class next year sucks and even then that won't make a huge difference.
  13. I'd rather have Happ on his contract. Happ is one year older but had the better season last year. Kazmir has a better track record in performance but also much more injuries as well. http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=pit&lg=all&qual=0&type=8&season=2015&month=0&season1=2015&ind=0&team=0&rost=0&age=0&filter=&players=7410,4897
  14. Opt outs are not good for teams. If a player is performing well, he will have positive trade value at the time of the opt out. For example if Price has three 5 Win seasons he would have positive value on a 4/127 contract. If they didn't want that player they could always trade him to someone since he has trade value.
  15. Yeah. Teams will want to keep the $ as low as possible but players would be willing to take a little less if they have full no trade clauses. It happened in the NHL and I think we are already starting to see it with the big FA. My guess is it will start to happen with the mid level FA in the next few years.
  16. Wonder what the salary breakdown is. If he's good Dodgers likely get a draft pick next year. Going for a full LH rotation. Kershaw Anderson Kazmir Ryu Wood Urias
  17. Opt out after 1 year. Great deal for Kazmir. I think we are seeing a trend with opt outs and my guess is the next trend will be no trade clauses for FA.
  18. lol those certainly aren't 45 pound plates, just look at how the barbell lands and rolls away. There is zero chance Valencia could come close to doing that with 200 let alone 315. Nonetheless its still an impressive accomplishment.
  19. so? lol in this day and age it doesn't matter where you are.
  20. could always split it with someone?
  21. Great sit down with Kyle Lowry on the Lowe Podcast- http://espn.go.com/espnradio/play?id=14460108
  22. Hopefully Jays games aren't blacked out this year because they weren't in the past even though we were in the "market". Great feature though I think I'll keep the same subscription since I have the first 2 months free anyway
  23. Just hire the Manitowac County Sheriff Dept. and they will be able to do it.
  24. Certainly looks like the Hendriks move was a mistake (even if you were going to trade a reliever Osuna probably gets you a ton more) but you gotta move past it now. There are still some good relief options on the market. I mean last year everyone was saying the same thing and the pen turned out to be pretty good.
  25. I would be interested in acquiring another 1st round pick if anyone else is looking to move down.
