    I hate when Buck says you need 10 MPH difference on the change from the fastball. Most starters its around 7 and it can be very successful at that speed. Even Felix throws his change at only a 5 MPH difference and its an elite pitch. At 88-89 Sanchez change is fine with the movement its showing. Just all about command.

    Lol everyone in the stadium knew that pitch was coming there. Much rather Pillar go down and everyone in the lineup move up for what we just saw. Everyone is great at working the pitchers and getting on base after Pillar but far too often it starts with 1 out.

    So Shi Davidi just said on the broadcast that Andrew Miller SVP of strategy and business analytics will be coming over to replace Brooks. I think this leaves little doubt Brooks was fired. This will be a good move for Rogers bottom line but not likely for fans. Expect ticket pricing to change.

    holy s*** didn't see that coming. I guess it makes sense Shapiro wants his own guy. Brooks was from the Beeston days and were losing out on a bunch of potential revenue which he oversaw.

    He sounded like he's been fine comfort wise this year. Plus his defense has been great so if it really was about that I don't think it would only effect his hitting. Facing new pitchers is probably the biggest thing but there is video out there. The reality is that he is making a lot less contact on pitches the last 2 years.
