  1. Rather just let Chavez start the inning clean.
  2. Dickey's gotten lots of swinging strikes and popups this game. Even though his pitch count is fairly low I'd take him out here.
  3. That was a picture perfect swing my goodness.
  4. Thought KK hurt his wrist on that for a second. Came so close to catching that wow
  5. Thole says suck it haters.
  6. JD's timing must be off because he's whiffing on a lot of pitches even going back to the spring.
  7. Because he is a better pitcher with more groundballs and less Ks. More or less he is just throwing his 2 seamer instead of his 4 seamer and its the better pitch. He could probably get a few more Ks if he threw his 4 seamer up in the zone but thats also going to cause him to give up more HRs. With how good the Blue Jays defense is I'd say he's more valuable as the groundball version that can go deeper into games.
  8. I don't think its fair to mention any pitcher in the same sentence as Kershaw certainly not Stroman. Its not like Stroman is some 10K/9 pitcher choosing to not strike anyone out. When he came up to the MLB team before he introduced his 2 seamer his K/9 was under 8. I'd rather have an extra 10% GB than a few more strikeouts and HR personally.
  9. Considering Martin's replacement at Catcher I'm fine with him not catching Dickey even if Thole has to face a Lefty once in a while.
  10. Top 6 of the lineup is beautiful. 7,8,9 vs a LHP is pretty gross. Surprised Barney didn't get the start.
  11. Clearly weren't looking at 2010-2012.
  12. I'm fine with Stroman being a groundball guy. Fits perfectly with how good the Jays infield defense is so he will likely out-perform his FIP by a good margin.
  13. Number 8 isn't too bad I guess.
  14. Even with how good he was yesterday he could have been better. His breaking ball was pretty inconsistent and he hung more than a few. I'm not sure he's ever going to strike out that many guys but he should be able to pitch a ton of innings since he can keep the pitch count low with the groundballs and few walks. A 2014 Keuchel seems pretty realistic which is close to an ace.
  15. What time is the lottery at?
  16. I'm sure Tepera rather he gets named to the team then sent down than not make the team at all. He likely got a nice cheque out of it and for a player like him who barely has service time its a ton of money.
  17. lol that price is insane. I have a Josh Donaldson signed baseball and I wouldn't even be able to get close to that.
  18. http://m.mlb.com/glossary/transactions/non-guaranteed-contract
  19. How much did you get it for? I'm sure the value has tripled.
  20. I have a Kevin Pillar signed Official Postseason ball in a case I'll sell for $100. Also if anyone wants a current Blue Jays player jersey let me know. The Jerseys are authentic on field jersey (The ones the players actually play with). Cost is $250 CAD.
  21. Seems like an overpay when Venditte and Girado are there in the minors but can't complain if it gets Tepera off the team lol. Some guys in the FO were like wait a second why the f*** is Tepera on the team.
  22. I doubt it especially since he hates Rogers and tweets his hatred about them lol. They already have Tao of Stieb who writes articles from time to time as their "blogger"
  23. I wonder if he will ever do any interviews. I love his podcasts and he seems to get the best out of the players he has on.
