  1. 30 year old living in your mother's basement get it right at least... Nah a lot of us would be doing the same thing if we were in there shoes. Tough to turn down smoking hot chicks when you're drunk.
  2. Peter Walker is a great coach. Also an alcoholic who bangs women younger than his daughters lol. I don't think anyone cares that he gets piss drunk every night, just maybe don't drive when you do it. I'm sure Jays just hope it blows over next few days and can get back to business. Not something he should get fired imo.
  3. They’ll make the first 5-10 rows dugout to dugout like the in the action seats are is my guess. Think new yankee stadium with the Legends seats. They’ll try and get all these corporates to pay $300 a seat or something ridiculous. They already tried this with the “ticketmaster lounge” and fell flat on their face barely being able to sell any tickets at all. What they should do is reduce the capacity to 34-37k, rip out a lot of the 500 level and make more “flight deck like group bar areas”. At the same time space out the seats in the 100 level more with bigger seats plus more aisles.
  4. They won't even sell out any of the remaining games anyways what difference does it make. Even at $20 a seat its going to be nearly impossible for them to sell 15k seats in less than a week even for the Yankees games. There just isn't the same demand for tickets post covid..
  5. What a play he had no business getting to that ball. Lol I thought vladdy was going to ruin that again.
  6. Biggio makes a hell of a play and Vladdy ruins it lol.
  7. Yeah I agree with Seager being the player I'd rather have. Feels like he will still be a really good hitter and likely slides over to 3rd base. The injury history is why I think he gets a bit less.
  8. I'd be surprised if any of them got 300 Million. Seager I think has a monster year but even then I can't see him breaking 300. I'll say Seager gets 10/270, Correa 8/190 and Story 7/165.
  9. Lindor signs for 10/341. I'm really glad the Jays didn't trade for him and sign him to a contract like that.
  10. Commissions are high but that industry is so competitive and you'll have a lot of professional time wasters where you put in hours of work and the client never buys anything and the agent doesn't get anything.
  11. Exactly. This is a guy who said he wouldn't shave his head for a million dollars.
  12. Yeah I would say Realmuto at 5/115 is better value than Springer at 6/150 honestly. Realmuto is the best catcher in the game and the deal seems pretty fair. Springer got a hell of a lot more than Justin Upton and Upton was younger.
  13. My first thought was the $ seemed high but the more I think about it I like the move. 1 year deal for a likely 2-3 win player with upside, also can play SS when Bichette needs a day off. Jays lineup looks really deep now, only thing about it is its super RH heavy with the only LHB being Biggio and Tellez. It will murder LHP but come playoff time makes it easier to gameplan against. Now just need to address the rotation. No way they can go into the season with Tanner Roark starting.
  14. He actually graded pretty well defensively last 2 years but yeah hes going to be 34-36 years old so likely will see his fair share of time at DH. Especially on the turf.
  15. Hoping its like 3/35 but have a feeling its going to be more like 3/45
  16. As good as the Jays lineup looks it is predominantly RHed with Tellez and Biggo being the only LH bats. Brantley would really make the Jays one of the best lineups. Selling high on Gurriel for a pitcher or 3rd baseman might be a good idea. I'd love Brantley on a 2/25 deal.
  17. Yeah basically. I mean love George Springer as a player but wasn't a huge fan of the 6th year/extra $25 but I understand why the Jays felt like they had offer it to get the singing. At the end of the day I think Springer singed because he got offered 6/150 not because the Front office did anything spectacular to sway his decision.
  18. I will say I much rather have Springer at 6/150 than what the Yankees paid for DJL.
  19. Probably posted here before you stopped wetting the bed.
  20. I think NY tax is pretty similar to Ontario's. Plus if they play in Dunedin this year he would actually save a lot of $ in taxes. Yeah I mean who knows how the negotiations went down. If the Jays offered $135 does it get it done? I guess you don't want to piss the player off $3 Million per year trying to get too cute. I get it..
  21. So mets best offer was 6/125. I guess Jays really did outbid themselves.
  22. I mean lets be honest as soon as the Jays offered that 6th year and total guarantee of $150M thats what signed him. The jays had to overpay and its not like FO pulled off a coup by getting him to sign. Money talks and the Jays offered by far the biggest deal.
  23. So looks like Jays had to add an extra year and 25 Million to seal the deal. More than I would have liked to pay but at least they signed a big FA.
  24. Siakam also looks like he's lost some of his athleticism. He used to score a ton of points by just running the floor hard as well and that seems to be gone. Although he's playing heavy minutes so its probably expected he isn't going to be able to sprint down the floor like he did when he was playing 20-25 min a game. Also seems like a player that when he misses a few shots it gets in his head and he completely loses it.
  25. There is still doubt if Siakam is even a max player tbh..(Him making 2nd team All NBA makes his cap% start at 28% I beleive). They would be super small but could always make a trade later on. Not many chances come up to get a top 5-7 player in the NBA so you do it and figure out the rest later. Free Agency this year now actually looks pretty s*****. You have Kawai, Gobert, Lowry, Oladipo and Derozan.
