    I have no idea why Vlad was taken out there unless he’s still not 100%. He was on 1st with one out. How old is Ned Yost? I’m just going to assume him and Montoyo either grew up together or are actually related. I like that theory better than actually trying to place logic in some of these decisions.

    I've been on the extend Stro train since the winter. The market is making re signing your own players more logical now and Stro is actually good + wants to stay. Make it happen Shatkins. You just signed a "play the game the right way" anti bat flip good old boy in Grichuk. Might as well counter balance that with Stro's personality.

    With Alford s***ing the bed in AAA, and Jonathan Davis being a logical call up in place of F'n Brito at some point, having Revere there is good insurance.

    I'm starting to think so too. Shapiro hired Eric Wedge to manage the Indians. Now Atkins hires Montoyo. These guys for whatever reason seem to like the non sabermetric types.

    The fact that I even have to ask this question scares the crap out of me, but what if Tellez lead off the 9th inning, and hit a double. Vlad would be up with a runner on 2nd and 0 out. Does Buntoyo bunt in that situation?

    Agreed, that’s my thought as well. I’d be ashamed if they did the super 2 ******** with Vlad, never mind someone a lot less valuable in Biggio.

    Are we really worried about super 2 status with Biggio? He's 24. He's under team control through 30 regardless and doesn't seem like someone who would be hard to extend if it came down to it (whereas Vlad likely sees $200-300M mil in his future so he's less likely to take a deal). I don't mind letting him get more AAA at bats, but calling him up now would be fine too.

    In the "I had no idea he was doing this well" category: Espinal: 136 wRC+, 6.9 BB%, 16.7 K%, 27.8 LD%, 40.7 FB% With Bichette hurt and Biggio on way the up soon (hopefully), he should get some consideration to move up a level.

    Smart move promoting it two days in advance. Not sure how much of an attendance boost they will get, but Friday night with no competition from the Raptors and Leafs might give them a decent crowd.

    That seems like a good spot for him, especially if we need a good bunt in the 3rd inning.

    Seriously, just lost a one run game in which Vlad should have been up. It's laughable.

    Forrest Wall is suddenly an OBP machine in AA (no power though). Walk rate has gone up, K's down.
