    The Jays were playing Tapia in the OF over Biggio last season, and this is a guy (Tapia) that they couldn't wait to non tender after the season. Not sure they view Biggio as anything beyond a bench player at this point. They had Lukes on the 40 man roster all winter for some reason, and have stashed him on the bench to do nothing aside from today's start. Maybe Lukes has some compromising photos in his possession or something.

    Bassitt has bounced back nicely from his horrid first start where he was throwing slow junk. Good to see.

    I still can’t believe they are wasting any of his bullets in AAA.

    I always get a laugh when people try to use social media to rag on another person or business but it just exposes how entitled/wrong the person complaining is. With that said, if Anthony Bass getting cancelled leads to Pearson finally being on the big league roster, then I'll take it.

    This is probably the team’s best lineup with what they have available so good to see it.

    Closers having an entrance seems like a no brainer. Ask them what their favorite song is and create an entrance out of it.

    Big spot in the 8th inning against an undefeated division rival and the fans doing the wave. Big game atmosphere.

    Schneider will use Swanson to get 1 out in the 7th and then use Cimber in the 8th.

    Schneider is horrible managing a bullpen. No way around it.

    Schneider is going to use the entire pen to pitch 4 innings, and he's loving every minute of it.

    That looked like it would have gone out of play, but hard to tell with the idiot reaching for the ball. Kick him out anyway.

    Wow what an inning for Berrios.

    The Rays have to lose at some point, so I'm confident the Jays win at least 1 game this weekend. Gonna be hard to predict with Berrios and Kikuchi pitching two of the games. Hell, even Manoah deserves some of that skepticism with the way he's started this season as well. Berrios did a lot better at home last season so if that trend continues then maybe he surprises us tonight.

    I really hope Chapman is back tomorrow.

    The Rays run differential counting today's game so far (leading 8-3) is +70 (100 RS/30 RA). I don't know which is more impressive, the above or the fact that there appears to be a pretty good crowd at the Trop for a Thursday afternoon game.

    Gausman is so good. Too bad the offense went to bed tonight.

    Hopefully Schneider keeps Pop in for more than 0.2 innings. He loves using the pen but the Jays need some length here.

    If the Tigers were a good hitting team this would be a blowout right now. Manoah's pitches are trash tonight.

    Jays definitely need to add a legit long reliever. Pen won't make it to July at this pace. Mitch White is needed.

    Can Gausman start every game? I don't think that's an unreasonable ask.

    Manoah knows how to silence a home crowd.
