I wouldn't be so sure about them staying dominant, unlike the Red Sox--the lack of good rotation depth in LA after Ohtani is eventually going to sink them. Garret Richards has been awful, who knows if Skaggs will stay healthy or efficient (despite a 9-1 lead, Skaggs has already thrown 100+ pitches thru 5 tonight), Shoemaker's hurt, Ramirez is done for the year (TJS), Bridwell was so bad recently, he got sent back to AAA, and we don't know what Heaney and Tropeano will bring when they return.
I just feel this current start is fool's gold--playing bad teams like Oakland and Texas help. This team unfortunately is too much like the 1987 team.. good team ruined by lousy pitching. Ohtani can't pitch every day--and this every 6 days thing is going to be a problem down the road.
