    Extras in New York. Yanks are running low on good arms as they go into extras. Shreve and AJ Cole are the only ones left that are available and/or haven't thrown 20+ pitches yesterday.. UPDATE: It's AJ Cole for the 10th. Looks like a loss coming..

    What is infecting this rotation? Perhaps it's time to axe Pete Walker? All 5 starters have ERAs north of 4... and it's time to DFA Morales.

    Now 10-0 Royals--any guess that Bundy's injured? Giving up 4 HRs like that has to indicate something.. and what about his velocity?

    The Central is SO bad, Cleveland is only a .500 team--Yankees walk it off on a HR by Gleyber Torres! Nothing can stop this team.. and you can imagine the Red Sox are getting nervous. Cleveland meanwhile really needs the offense to pick up and Andrew Miller to return..

    Orioles Hangout is having a meltdown..as the O's are having their worst start since 1988. Gausman pitched a gem and still lost..

    Justin Anderson just gave up a game-leading HR to Mike Zunino. Sciosia's used 5 arms tonight out of the pen to blow this game.. he is going to run this bullpen into dust at the rate he's going. They need more length from someone other than Skaggs or Richards--and Sciosia to stop torching the pen so much. And the Angels lost the game in extras.. and their bullpen has now thrown 140 IP so far this season. Well on track to be burned out by the All-Star break..

    This Rays team is weird--no power, but they sure know how to take a walk and hit for average.. and are giving the Jays headaches again.

    It's going to be a long night for the Rays.. this "bullpen day" crap needs to end. Kittredge is getting hit hard already..

    Twins bullpen shoots itself in the foot--Addison Reed served up a walk off HR to Trayce Thompson.. seriously! Twins are awful when they can't even beat the White Sox.

    Chris Tillman looks finished as an MLB pitcher--the Angels are teeing off on him. 5-0 already.. the O's are beyond a doubt, the worst team in baseball by far right now. Better start counting the days before Machado gets dealt for prospects.

    Santos will likely be DFAd after this game--especially considering he's struggling to record any outs. Remember, we need to call up a position player after this game to get a 3-man bench. Who that will be (Tellez? Urena? an OF?). At this point, Gibby is just going to leave Santos out there until his arm falls off..

    Correction on earlier--Otero is likely unavailable or limited (threw back to back games). Indians are in trouble if this goes to extras--and they especially don't want to touch Josh Tomlin in an emergency, as he has been destroyed this season..

    I'd be worried if I was Cleveland--with Allen fast approaching 20 pitches, they'll have to go to another arm if this goes to extras.. and Otero, Beliveau aren't good, and Olson's more a LOOGY.

    Are we even going to get the 2nd game in? This 1st game is dragging along, and rain is expected later tonight.

    Doubt it. Especially considering Smoak is expected back by Saturday or so.. they'll probably call up Tellez or Ngeope.

    Good thing Andrew Miller's back Sunday, because Goody just blew his elbow out... not something the Indians pen needs.
