    JP Arencibia could be facing a DFA or a trip to AAA: Jeff Wilson ‏@JeffWilson_FWST So far in #Rangers camp, Robinson Chirinos has outperformed J.P. Arencibia in all aspects. Hasn't gone unnoticed by club brass. Quote from Rotoworld: Wilson adds that it "hasn't gone unnoticed by club brass." Chirinos is hitting a robust .467/.529/.533 with four RBI this spring, while Arencibia is batting just .150/.150/.250. It's also not hard to envision Chirinos looking better defensively given Arencibia's reputation. Arencibia is set to earn $1.8 million this season, and it's hard to see the Rangers just eating that salary. Chirinos is also capable of playing first and third base, so perhaps the Rangers could consider carrying three catchers. And you wonder why the Jays cut JPA..

    Enjoy seeing Rudy Owens today.. he's minors bound after this game, as he's still a ways off from the majors, and likely to start in AAA.

    Only matters to the Reds, Cubs, Pirates and Brewers.. whether St. Louis wins another World Series is another question. As for a dynasty, it depends on how the top prospects of the Cubs develop.. that team, along with the Pirates, could be a threat to the Cardinals in the next few years.

    Here's a name that O's fans might remember: Matt Eddy ‏@MattEddyBA #BlueJays sign RHP Radhames Liz to minor league deal. He led Korean majors with 188 strikeouts last year, according to @MyKBO Interesting.. oh and he had a 3.06 ERA in the KBO last year with a 1.09 WHIP. This could be a good low risk signing if it pans out. He'll likely go to Buffalo..

    LHP Luis Perez, C Derrick Chung and C Jack Murphy were reassigned to minor league camp according to Rotoworld. Luis Perez had offseason shoulder surgery, and is expected to start the season on the DL, meaning one of Wagner or Jeffress will make the team.

    Pete Walker has nothing to do with the struggles of the rotation last year.. injuries are more the reason. As for Happ.. he's booking a trip to AAA or the bullpen with his struggles.. but it's unlikely he goes to the minors due to having 5+ years of service time (5.047)

    Might as well.. Santana still isn't signed yet, as most teams are out of money and can't afford to make anymore big signings. Ditto for Stephen Drew.
