  1. Well, the rest of the series favors Toronto. Lackey's been good all year.
  2. How in hell did the A's get a few starts out Mills? He's still garbage.
  3. The good thing is that we get Peavy tomorrow, who has been garbage for the Sox. Esmil Rogers, Chad Jenkins or Austin Bibens-Dirkx are likely getting calls right now to be ready to come to Toronto tomorrow after Mills is DFAd.
  4. And Esmil Rogers, Austin Bibens-Dirkx or Chad Jenkins(if eligible) is likely getting word to pack their bags for Toronto.
  5. At least Mills is expendable. He'll be DFAd after this game. Expect someone to be recalled from AAA tomorrow.
  6. Ugh.. two lineouts right to the pitcher there. Long way to go, though..
  7. Mills gets the Jays out of it. Now we have some work to do.
  8. Hutch out.. and most of the hits haven't been hard ones either. Can we skip to the Angels/O's game yet?
  9. Hutchison has been getting BABIP'd tonight.. so many bloops.
  10. King Felix and Iwakuma have been pushed back to the Baltimore series. Guess they see the same opportunity to help the Jays and Yankees by keeping their backend starters away from the O's. Erasmo Ramirez and either Taijuan Walker or Tom Wilhelmsen will start Tuesday and Wednesday.
  11. No chance he'll be traded. In fact, if Hammel continues to struggle, Milone could be back up here quickly.
  12. Well, one of them has to fade later this week.. Boston and TB play each other next weekend.
  13. Tampa has to play the rest of the AL East as well, plus there's no guarantee Price or Zobrist will still be on the team in 11 days.
  14. Boston's offense still isn't that impressive, Cubs game and Astros series notwithstanding. They still aren't hitting for power (15th in SLG, dead last in runs scored, 4th in striking out, 2nd last in SB, worst in GIDP, and with David Ortiz showing regression due to age this season (only hitting .249) along with Pedroia's struggles, Boston's offense has been abysmal. No help is on the way, and Victorino isn't really a help.) Oh, and we miss Lester in the series.
  15. Pretty much. Seattle doesn't have the offensive depth to stay in contention, especially considering they don't want to trade prospects and add $20M in payroll for a year of David Price, especially since they need to acquire multiple bats via trade if they're to stay relevant. King Felix and Iwakuma and the bullpen can't keep this up forever. Don't rule out the Indians either.
  16. Grant Green walks off.. Angels win 6-5. Jays now 1.5 back of 2nd wild card and 3 back of Baltimore.
  17. Rodney just blew a save in LA on a Pujols 2B. 5-5 now. Please no more extra-inning games..
  18. Reds aren't very good without Phillips and Votto.
  19. Odrisamer Despaigne has a no hitter through 7. Is this a joke?
