Holy does Santiago suck... even though it's 0-0. He's already blown much of his pitch count in the 3rd inning. Good thing for the improved Angels bullpen.

And the fans head for the exits as if it were pouring rain. Can't blame them. 2 runs in 20 inn. vs. Rangers and their AL-worst 4.90 ERA.
And yet the Jays managed to light up Rangers pitching, even with a short-handed lineup. How could the Yankees be so pathetic offensively vs. the Rangers?
Yanks/Rangers going to 12. Ellsbury chokes with RISP.. and against the Mariners bust Ryan Feierabend..
Huff now in, leaving Jeff Francis the last pitcher remaining in the Yankees pen.
Yankees/Rangers still scoreless in the 11th.
Headley's 0-2 with a K. And the Yanks better score soon.. all they have left in the pen is David Huff and gas can Jeff Francis.
Last place in sight for the Red Sox.. Tampa is blowing out the Cardinals 6-1 in the 5th. Also bad news for the Mariners as well hoping to get David Price..
About Doubront's demands.. if he wants to start, then he better start producing. All he's doing right now is ticking off John Farrell by pouring gasoline and giving the Jays a huge lead.
A disgruntled Doubront is now in for the Sox, and he is demanding a trade or a move to the rotation:

Well, Ortiz just passed Dunn in active HRs.. and now is tied with A-Rod in HRs at Skydome/Rogers Centre.
Unlike Dunn, Ortiz still has plenty of time to keep climbing the HR all-time list. Dunn is likely to retire at season's end.
Well, Peavy's not very good.. his 4.34 xFIP shows he's the weak link in Boston's rotation, followed by Buchholz with his 4.15 xFIP (who despite winning, was pounded for 10 hits in his last start.. lucky KC can't score.)
Perhaps that 14 run outburst last night hitting tipped pitches of Hutch and the garbage of Mills has screwed up their bats against someone with better velocity. Plus, the GIDP's aren't helping either.
Peavy's starting to leak gas.. time for Farrell to wake up and get someone up in the pen. And you wonder why Peavy is a 1-8 pitcher.. not just a lack of run support.
