    Starting to question the Red Sox rotation.. Masterson and Miley were lit up yesterday, and Joe Kelly, who thinks he can win the Cy Young, is getting hit hard vs. the Mets. Wonder if this will fire up the Hamels rumors again.. if their rotation pitches this poorly in the regular season (which is possible as these pitchers are now close to stretched out. and no longer working on stuff.)

    Only a few more weeks before we can stop giving at-bats to Carrera.. he stinks and is AAA filler.

    He's more meant to be depth in Buffalo anyway, and so the Jays at least have another option.

    BTW, 5 DPs so far.. by Hardy, De Aza(twice) and Wieters.. does anyone think the O's lineup is really slow now? (of course, they were last in SBs last year.)

    Another solid outing by Redmond, as Snider K'd and Rey Navarro got caught stealing. He's a lock for the pen.

    Miguel Castro continues to dominate: 2 IP, 1H, 2Ks. He's increasingly looking likely to make the team..

    Pretty rough spring so far for pitchers.. and what's your bet that Wilson's injury is worse than Scioscia says?

    What little depth the Yanks had in their rotation just dropped further, and it may hurt their bullpen, as Adam Warren may be forced into the rotation until Nova is back:

    Of course, considering we know Redmond, Loup, Cecil, Estrada, and possibly Delabar will make it.. it won't be easy! Plus there's still Miguel Castro looming..

    Has anyone noticed how much the Tigers are scoring this spring? Better save some runs for the regular season, though. Of course, their bullpen is still garbage.

    And Rich(Goose) Gossage is a Hall Of Famer. Marcos Carvajal was garbage, we know about Gaudin, and Julian Tavarez had a 16 year career(with a World Series ring in Boston from 2007). It really depends on talent. And let's not forget Mike Leake, who skipped the minors (outside of a brief 7.1 IP in AAA in his 2nd season.)

    What a nice play by Izturis! And a strong 2 innings by Sanchez. Is he in for 3 today?

    Which is why Martin will be starting and Navarro will either be DHing or traded to another club who needs a catcher.
