  1. Eovaldi incredibly wild.. 2 WPs this inning. And the Yanks D isn't helping either, as he gives up a 2 run single off of Daniel Nava. In comes Chris Martin..
  2. That and he was terrible in Seattle. Rays only brought him in due to the gutted rotation caused by injuries/illness to Cobb, Moore, Smyly and Colome.. none of Karns, Andriese or Ramirez are expected to stay with the Rays once the regulars get healthy.
  3. White Sox's hyped makeover is looking like the 2013 Blue Jays right now. 0-4, -20 run differential, and averaging 1.75 runs/game. BTW, the Melk Man is hitting .125 so far. Lucky it's a small sample size.. but the Sox's struggles early on are a real concern. ALready, the Royals have feasted on them like meat being tossed to a hungry lion (like Sluggerrr..), and now the Twins shut them out.
  4. And yet he's still giving up too many hits.. 3 hits already in the 1st.
  5. That, and Fox Sports 1 has exclusivity on Saturday day games.
  6. 8 doubles tonight for the Jays. Either the Jays are getting good hits or the O's defense is terrible with Pearce in LF, Cabrera in SS and Snider in RF..
  7. We understand.. but this outing isn't going to help his chances, especially considering he has options remaining.
  8. Especially now that Cecil is now in the set-up role for Miguel Castro, as it looks like. Besides, it doesn't hurt to have multiple long-men this early in the season, especially with young pitchers.
  9. Cramps for Bautista. He would've been likely taken out anyway.. no way you keep him in with a 9 run lead. Looks like we know who's going to AAA when Saunders returns.. Hynes just gave up a near HR..
  10. Bautista is fine. He's out due to the game being 11-2, nothing more.
  11. Bautista's out of the game due to a blowout situation. Good time to do it.. save him for tomorrow. Don't be surprised if we see Valencia come in before this game is over..
  12. That's a Web Gem by Pillar! We'll be seeing that on Sportscenter(US and TSN) and Sportsnet Central tonight!
  13. Bet we see a Liam Hendriks/Todd Redmond/Marco Estrada sighting today.
  14. Rangers CANNOT catch a break!
  15. Well, that closes the book on Norris.. wonder if the O's will put him on the DL with a phantom injury and put Gausman back in the rotation where he belongs. And now we're in double digits1
  16. Bautista! Now it's 8-1! Going to be a long weekend for the O's... especially with Ubaldo pitching tomorrow.
  17. Looks like Norris' Spring Training stats showed problems.. it's no surprise he got lit up. Now we just need to make the misery worse for him by scoring a few. And that's not how to do it, Reyes!
  18. Small sample size except for Delmon Young and Adam Jones.
  19. Still hard to say which version of Bud Norris we're going to get. He had a terrible spring, with severe walk and HR issues. Not terribly optimistic on him. Hopefully it helps wake up some of our slumping bats like Bautista.
  20. With Erasmo Ramirez and Matt Andriese available to pitch out of the pen. It's a bullpen day for the Rays.
  21. BTW, here's the O's lineup: Evereth Cabrera SS Steve Pearce LF Adam Jones CF Chris Davis 1B Delmon Young DH Manny Machado 3B Travis Snider RF Johnathon Schoop 2B Caleb Joseph C Bud Norris P
  22. Buehrle likes Navarro as his personal catcher, plus Martin needs an off day. And with Navarro catching, EE can DH and stay off the field defensively.
  23. Adam Jones, Delmon Young and Chris Davis scare me.. most don't have enough sample size.
