Dodgers add Preston Guilmet off waivers from the Rays to fill more of their minors roster due to almost frequent injuries and likely upcoming trades for pitching which will drain their depth outside of Urias and Seager.
Shows that Tampa doesn't care for Guilmet either. 3rd ballclub this year.. and it's likely only temporary, as they have to make a roster move for Zach Lee, who is projected to start this weekend.
BTW, Matt West has been horrible in AAA, the exact reason why he hasn't been anymore than an emergency arm with the Dodgers:
1-1, 7.50 ERA, 12/4 K/BB ratio, 1.44 WHIP.
If fans thought he'd be great for the Jays earlier in the year.. these AAA numbers are proof why he isn't getting a chance, and will likely be DFAd or used as a throw-in piece when the Dodgers make additions at the deadline or purchase contracts, as they are expected to do (even though they're 5.5 up, don't count out the Giants and D-Backs.)
