Just not squaring much up at all and horrible pitch selection, especially for lead off man...the guy can turn it around. When he is on he is a line drive machine. We need him to get it going...BADLY. Nice catch by XX in RF!

Painful - We are 2 games out with a horrendous rash of injuries following an unsustainable streak of winning baseball. I don't think this team will fold. Im in favour of some bold moves but not in panic.

The value of Jose and Edwins contracts for that production...is just stupid good in todays market.

Give you props for throwing out a idea/punching bag on here Gibbers. I don't like it for a lot of the reasons mentioned and I think both teams would feel same for their own various reasons. I don't like Wrights contract. Id like to move Reyes to 2nd next year(or NYY if they are crazy and rich enough). His best days at SS are long gone.

The Goins stand pat @ 2nd didn't last long. agree with you...Izzy career #s are better than he has showed us and his versatility is an asset. too bad. We so miss Lawrie. He stabilized the D and chipped in with bat at some key times. Also, we lays out for any chance. Love that about him. Its energizing. I miss the good ol days of the hot streak where we were winning on walk off sac bunts! -

My faith has much more depth than our line up, D and pen right now. Edwin's injury will be telling for us. We are right there in this but I have no illusions without some moves we will falter. I'm still shocked at what a moose for 8mm Cruz has been for Os. Sure could use that bat against LHP not that I'm sure he would have come here. -
Don't try and reason with a troll. The good news is we have been playing .360 ball the last 25 gms and are only one out. That is a miracle. The bad news is the pop in Edwin's leg. I do hope AA can pull off some moves to help fill our holes. We do need a spark. Seitzer seems to be less of a god these days. Go jays!

Not a bad pitch...Punto did a nice job....Jenkins was good. Not sure WTH he was still in. That really sucks...our big guys could just not come through. Reyes just no mojo. Have feeling of impending doom I don't usually have...
